August's POV
After my shift at Granny's ends, in about ten minutes, I'm going to go talk to Rumpelstiltskin.
Robin and Regina walked in and sat in a booth.
I walked over to their table, "Hey, guys! What would you like?"
"I would like a grilled cheese with fries, please." Regina said.
That's Emma's favorite.
"Robin?" I asked.
"I would like a hamburger with onion rings, please." He said.
"Anything to drink?" I asked.
"Um... Just water, please." Regina said.
"Water, please." Robin said.
"All right, coming right up!"
I gave the order to Granny, so she could start cooking the patties, and I cleaned some tables.
When she finished cooking, I took the food to Robin and Regina, with their water. "Here you go, guys!"
"Thanks, August!" They said.
"You're welcome."
I walked over to Granny. "My shift is over, so I'm going to go. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay, August, see you tomorrow." She said.
I walked away from her. "Bye, Ruby."
"Bye, August." She said walking over to hug me. "See you, tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow." I said.
After I hugged Ruby, I walked to the hotel part of Granny's Bed and Breakfast.
When I got to my room, my leg jerked and started shaking. I almost collapsed from the pain of the spreading wood. I limped over to my bed, sat down and waited for the pain to stop.
After it stopped, I started changing and noticed that the wood had spread up to my left thigh and started to spread onto my right leg. That explains why it was difficult to walk today.
My gosh, it is spreading FAST!
After I changed, I walked to Mr. Gold's Pawn Shop.
When I walked in, thankfully, it was just Rumpelstiltskin so that I could talk to him quickly and get it over with. I'm pretty sure he's still mad at me for posing as his son to try and get the Dark One dagger.
"Ah! August Wayne Booth!...What do you want?" He said in a tone full of disgust. Um... Yep! Yes, he's still mad.
"Nice to see you, too." I said with a sarcastic smile on my face. "I'm turning back into wood and I was wondering if there was anything you could do to make it go away?" I asked.
"If you give me some time, maybe a week and a half, I should have something by then." he said. "But, all magic comes with a price!" He said in a singsong voice. "And I do intend to make you pay. Because there is nothing else I want from you, I want to know the truth. Are you not being selfless, brave, or true. AND, what are you not being selfless, brave, or true about?"
"REALLY?!" I asked very loudly.
"Yes, really." He said very calmly, as if this wasn't effecting him at all. It was like he thought this was funny.
"I'm not being truthful."
"Who are you not being truthful to, and what about?"
"Okay, tell me again why you want to know this?"
"You never know what I can do with information."
"OK."
"Do you want me to make the serum, or not?" He asked, getting impatient.
"Of course, I do! I have no desire to be wood, again."
"Then tell me who you're not being truthful to and what you're not being truthful about."
"I'm not... I'm not being truthful to... Emma Swan and Killian Jones. I have liked Emma for some time and haven't told either of them."
Ah! I see!"
"You have to promise not to tell anyone! Especially Emma and Hook!"
"I won't. Pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Booth." He stuck his hand out and I shook it.
"You, too, Rumpelstiltskin."
