Emma's POV

Today is Henry's birthday. I got him a really cool sword.

Henry walked down from the stairs. "Happy birthday, kid!" I said as he ran over to hug me. I kissed him on the head.

"Thanks, mom."

"How does it feel to be a teenager?" I asked.

"Right now, it doesn't feel any different, but I know it will, eventually."

The whole family has been planning Henry's surprise birthday party, and we are so excited!

Regina got him a costume that is pretty much a mini version of Killian's old outfit. I'm pretty sure she didn't tell Killian. If she had, he would have told me. So, who knows, maybe he'll have two pirate outfits. Although, I did tell Killian and August not to get him clothes because they don't know his size, which I guess, I could have told them, but I don't know off the top of my head.

"What do you want to do for breakfast? We can grab something from here and take it around town. Or we can go to Granny's." I want him out of the house because my parents, Regina, Robin, and maybe Killian are setting up for the party.

"Um... Let's go to Granny's."

"Okay, sounds good! Grab your coat and we'll go."

When we got to Granny's, August, Granny, and Ruby gave us huge hugs and told Henry happy birthday.

"Are you here for a special birthday breakfast?" Granny asked.

We both nodded.

"On your birthday, you get ten percent off."

"Oh, well thank you!"

"Of course! It's the least I can do for all the times you have saved this town." She chuckled. "Come on in, sit down. August?"

"I got their table. What would you guys like this morning?"

"Two orders of bacon, eggs, and pancakes, please. OOH! I almost forgot, and two hot cocoas with cinnamon."

"Okay, coming right up!" He walked away to get our food.

"So, I know it's early, but, has it been a good day so far?"

"Hmm... yes it has. And I know it will continue to be a good day. Spending  the morning with you is an added bonus. I'm so glad that there hasn't been a new bad guy since Zelena."

"I know, me too."

We talked for a little longer until August brought our food.

"Mmm. Thanks, August." I said looking up and smiling at him.

"You're welcome, Emma." He said while looking at me and smiling.

Henry coughed, "Flirting." Another cough, "Just ask her out." One last cough.

August and I slightly blushed. I threw a napkin at Henry, which didn't do anything, because napkins don't fly.

"What makes you think I like him?" I ask Henry.

"What makes you think I like her?" August asked, slightly less confident than me, probably from embarrassment.

"Oh, come ON!! Are you serious? One, you're always hanging out with each other. Two, you give each other these looks that are just GROSS! Like the ones you just did right now."

"I don't like him, Henry." I said.

"And I don't like her." August said, the same embarrassment in his voice.
