Hook's POV

Every Friday night, August and I do a "guys night". We go to Granny's, have a couple drinks, and hang out.

I have some free time in between now and then and decide it's time for a change. I want to get a new outfit. I'm not the pirate that I used to be, why look like it?

I'll call Swan and see if she has time to help me pick one out.

I dialed her number and hit the green button.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Swan! I was wondering if you had time to help me pick out a new outfit?"

"Uh... Yeah! Meet me at the tailor's shop in five minutes."

"Okay, great! Thanks."

"Okay, see you."

I walked out of the back of Granny's and to the tailor's shop right as Swan walked in.

I sneakily tapped her on the shoulder. When she turned around and saw it was me, she lightly hit my shoulder and said, "Don't do that! You scared me!"

"Well, hello, to you, too." I said sarcastically.

"Hi, Hook." She said while leaning in to hug me. "So what kind of outfit were you wanting?"

"I still want the black leather. I'm not ready to give that up yet." I said.

"I understand. My red leather jacket is a symbol of my armor, and my past, but I'm not ready to give it up, because I love it so much. I'm not sure I ever will be," she said while grabbing the bottom of the jacket. "Which I'm still working on getting that armor off. My family, you, and August are a lot of help with that."

"Armor is a tricky thing to get rid of."

"But anyway, back to what I asked, what kind of outfit were you looking for?"

"Right, I just want a shirt, vest, pants, and and a leather jacket."

"All black?"

"Dark blue shirt."

"Okay, let's look around."

"Let's look around."

We split up in different sections. I went to look at pants, and Swan went to look at jackets.

I've always felt like the two of us were similar, but I don't think I've ever felt it more than in this moment, talking about our armor.

As I was walking, looking at pants, I saw the perfect pair. They're black and look my size. I'm not very picky.

"Swan, come over here. I think I found something!" I said loud enough to where she could hear me across the shop.

"Okay, coming!"

She walked over here. I was holding the pants behind my back so she couldn't see them.

"What did you want to show me?"

"These." I said, and held the pants up.

"I think they look perfect."

I realized she was holding something behind her back.

"What'd you find?"

"This. I hope you'll like it."

She pulled the jacket out from behind her back.

The jacket was black leather, passes the first test. It didn't have a very big collar, which is a good thing because this collar is HEAVY!

"Looks great to me."
