In which in this tag, I talk about the origins of how my love for my ultimate bias came to be.

I feel like I talk SO MUCH about Chanyeol on this website, because really, my love has no bounds for that man. But lemme do this, I'll talk about him and then talk about the bias who had caught my eye lately, Kim Taehyung, since I think me discovering my love for him was interesting.

Let's start with my tall asf legitimate definition of sunshine, Park Chanyeol.

As some may know (or all of you, idk) I discovered KPop only at the end of last July, and EXO was the first group I've gotten into. I was naive and young, since I knew of having a bias, I was somewhat desperate to have one. I remember watching their Tender Love music video to help me pinpoint their names to their faces.

Yixing was the first one that stood out to me, the one I had deemed the cutest out of the nine. Sadly, precious angel didn't become my bias. But then, whoa there illegal maknae, Oh Sehun comes barging in. Like wow, hello, rude, aren't you? And so for a couple months, I had Sehun as my first ever bias. It was a fun ride. Even when I watched EXO Next Door, I had focused a lot on my homeboy (not even paying too much attention to main lead, shame on me). But then, the farther I fell, the more my attention began being taken away. There was even a period that Kyungsoo had caught my eye, but nope. There he was in his 6'1 glory.

I can't even fathom how he became my bias for EXO. I think what caught me first was his low voice. I'm always fucking caught when it comes to low voices, and lanky man had got it good with his young features and EARS. Imagine my surprise when I pinpointed that this man was the voice to that rapping. Nah, didn't fit. But of course, I've come into terms with it.

Then came EXO Showtime and other variety shows, along with the power of Tumblr. Before I fucking knew it, Chanyeol had stolen my damn heart and claimed it. I am so constantly wrecked by this man that it's not fair for my soul. Whether he be performing, talking, or whatever, I will always catch me with a smile on my face as I watch or read about him.

I'll go ahead and do 5 facts like Zar, because why not!

1. Chanyeol and I are 4 years apart. Hear that? That's the ideal age gap between partners in a relationship ;)

2. We were in the same damn room on February 10. We breathed the same damn air. That's crazy.

3. I have a Chanyeol jacket

4. Taken a quiz, and apparently he has the same sleeping patterns as me. Thanks soompi, at least I know we'd be the perfect sleeping buddies.

Alright, on to the biggest derp, Kim Taehyung.

I guess I should start out with how it all started. I'll admit, I'm like the NEWEST fan when it comes to BTS. I've always heard of them in the beginning of my KPop days, I've had friends who were into them and a few who have showed me their stuff to me. I've had In The Mood for Love pt. 1 for a long while, and loved all their songs. I've even watched Dope and fell in love with it, but I didn't bother to pry further. I don't know why, but I had that mentality that because they were the "most popular" I didn't want to bother to get into them.

But then I met my BTS enthusiast friend, who I now consider my twin. (Like legit, I've been wondering if we were related in some way and we just never knew). The girl would constantly spam me with BTS and I found myself falling for them.

As for biases go, if I were to follow what I usually go for (low voices, rappers who can bring in laughs), it would have been Rap Monster. But the reason why I refrained myself to biasing him? Because he was my friend's ultimate bias. No worries, folks, I wasn't deprived over finding my bias of the group, after all, there were six other boys who were asking for my attention.

The two of us talked, and after her sending so many pics and links of RapMon, I mentioned how I wanted to find a BTS bias, more so I can keep my focus off of her man, lmao. Out of my curiosity, I took the BTS soulmate quiz on soompi. And surprise, surprise:

I read the description and was like, "Oh damn, he sounds like the PERFECT boy for me." But, even with the quiz, I didn't claim V as bias yet. Idk, maybe I wanted a little taste of the others first before I officially choose. And so, my friend began giving me all the info of each of the boys as well as a span of pictures and videos to go along with it.

In the end of that glorious spam, I was down to Jin and V. They both caught my eye not only of their looks, but their personality too. As the days pass, however, Taehyung ended up getting my attention more, and there it was, he became my BTS bias.

I had no clue I would become trash for BTS so quickly. And now I'm just so occupied with BTS, but I guess that's understandable with their comeback and all.

Alright, I'll go with 3 facts for this one:

1. He's actually technically a month older than me. He's December 30 and I'm February 1. That's just so weird to think about, and I figured this out only a couple days ago.

2. Ship name? Biantae but maybe we can change it up. Bianhyung? Taenca?

3. I did think up of a fanfic idea for him ;) but who knows if I'll actually go through with it.
