The group of survivors gathered in the vast field for their final goodbyes. Johnny entered the field with Kitty and walked over to Abby.

"I think you should tell her." Johnny said. "I...I don't think I can..." Abby replied in tears. "What happened? Are you a zombie?" Kitty asked hugging Mr. Squiggles.

Abby wiped her tears and cleared her throat. "I was a zombie but now I'm cured...." Abby replied. "What are we doing here? Is the bad guy gone? Did we win?" Kitty asked. "Yes we won, but we lost two very good friends and a dog." Abby answered starting to cry. "Who?" Kitty asked.

"Gabby and Danielle....." Abby replied bawling. Miranda ran over and hugged Abby. Kitty stood there frozen. Mr. Squiggles fell to the ground, Kitty sat on her knee's and started to cry.

"Everyone, please gather around here." Ryan shouted. The others grouped around Ryan. "So many lives were lost during this zombie outbreak. So many great lives that will never be forgotten. I shall name some of these great hero's. I start with my team. Me and Victoria are the only survivors but we stand strong and keep on living. Let the others rest in peace. Next I honor a man known as Mr. Groff. I didn't know him but he seemed like a great man." Ryan said. "As Danielle would have said.......Groffy knows everything...." Miranda said.

The others smiled. "OK next is.....Kitty's mother, Jean. Though she was our enemy, she loved Kitty very much and was sorry that it had to end this way. She still lives on in Kitty's heart." Ryan said. Kitty cried into Abby's side.

"The last two on my list are Danielle and Gabby. They fought bravely, and with much courage. They showed us what true friendship is like. They will always be remembered as hero's. Well I'm sure many other brave people died as well. they wont be forgotten. Let all the dead souls find there way into a better place and live happily." Ryan said.

Megan walked up next to Ryan. "I had the group picture of all of us printed out. I'll hang it right here." Megan began to tear up as she tapped the picture to the wall. "Goodbye friends..." Megan said walking back over to the group.

Ryan looked around. "Has anyone seen Victoria?" Ryan asked.

All of a sudden a gun shot echoed from the front of the school. "No....." Ryan muttered. Ryan and the others raced to the front of the school, but they were too late. "NO! Victoria!" Ryan screamed.

Victoria layed dead on the ground holding a pistil in her hand, a folded up note layed next to her. Abby covered Kitty's eyes.

"Why?" Ryan cried. Ryan knelled down next to her and cradled her in his arms. The others stood there feeling Ryan's pain. Maggi picked up the note and read it out loud.

"Dear Ryan, I know your probably feeling really hurt right now and confused. I did this because I cant live this way. Curing me isn't good enough for me. I'll never be able to forget what I've done as a zombie. I know it wasn't me, but I cant forget Hunter's horrified face when I killed him. I'm sorry for this, but at least your not alone. There's a girl that loves you. She'll be there for you now that I cant. I will love you forever. ~Victoria." Maggi folded the note up and handed it to Ryan.

He carefully put down Victoria and took the note. "We need to dig a grave." Ryan said. "We'll go find a shovel." Alison replied. Johnny and Kyle followed her. The others wandered about.

"Ryan I'm so sorry." Megan said. "It's not your fault." Ryan replied. He hugged her tightly and she hugged him back. "I wont ever let this happen to you." Ryan said. Megan nodded. "Same goes for me." Megan said.

The sun started to set as the group buried Victoria. "This is all I could find for a grave stone." Alex said carrying a flat stone. "It's fine. Thanks for your help." Ryan replied. "No prob." Alex said putting the stone down.

"My angel let you soar through the sky and live on happily in a better place." Ryan said wiping his tears. Megan held on to his arm and layed her head on his shoulder.

"Alright all infected people line up to get cured." Alison shouted. The zombies gathered in a line. "Mom!" A girl yelled. Alison searched the crowd. "Mom!" Angel yelled jumping into Alison's arms. "Angel. I thought I lost you!" Alison said hugging her back.

"You'll never lose me." Angel replied. "Oh here's the cure." Alison said injecting it into Angel. "I feel better already." Angel replied. "Alright who's next? Come on dont be shy." Alison shouted. Angel wandered over into Abby and Kitty's conversation.

"I dont have a mommy anymore. Who will take care of me?" Kitty asked. "I dont know....." Abby replied. "I'll take care of her." Angel said.

"Are you sure?" Abby asked.  "I'm 19 years old and I always wanted a daughter." Angel replied. "What do you think Kitty?" Abby asked. "I want a mommy." Kitty said.

"I'll be a great mommy for you. If you want me to be." Angel said. "Ok, mommy." Kitty replied. She hugged Angel. Angel and Abby smiled.

"Well what do we do now?" Micheal asked. "I dont know." Alex replied. "We could go raid a food place." Jackson said. "We could but that's just way too much work." Micheal replied. "Yeah." Alex agreed.

"We have to rebuild soecity, start going back to school and eventally things will go back to normal." Ryan said. "Do we have to go back to school?" Kaytlin asked.

"I guess not. We could shorten the days and how long you have to be there though." Kyle replied. "Oh that would be better." Reka said. "Yeah." Liz and Jasmin agreed.

"Nothing is ever gonna be the same again." Megan said to herself.

The leftover survivors gathered the supplies they had and went home. They cured the remaining zombies and brought soecity back to life. The world was finally at peace and sorta back to normal, or was it?
