You couldn't believe it.

You didn't want to believe it.

You didn't want to be seen standing there like an idiot, so you speed-walked to the bathroom, locked the door, and silently cried your heart out.

After a few minutes all the tears were out of your system. You looked in the mirror and saw that your face was a mess. (If you wear make up, your cheeks are covered in mascara. If you're a natural like me, then your face is just red and puffy.)

You spent your time fixing your face, then you flushed the toilet to make it seem like you were using it. Ten steps out of the bathroom, you already see Mettaton and Papyrus mingling on the couch.

You turned right around and was about to go find Undyne and Alphys to talk about Anime, but something stopped you.

"Oh, (Y/N), darling!! Come, come! I have something EXITING to tell you, dear!"

You turn around with a fake smile on your face and walked toward the couple.

"Hello, Mettaton! Hello, Papyrus! What's up?"

Mettaton exitedly told you about his newly found relationship with Papyrus. You decided to pretend you weren't there when it happened and congratulate them.

"OH, I MUST TELL SANS! I WILL ONLY BE A SHORT WHILE!"

Papyrus left the living room and Mettaton giggling. "Isn't he such a dear~?"

"Yeah, sure..."

"Is there something wrong, darling?"

You decided now was the best time to tell Mettaton about your past life.
