A/n I couldn't think of any X reader cause u know writers block so requests will be highly appreciated. Oh and this one may be a bit short.

(Y/n) wasn't like the other student at Hogwarts. You see they all had one house but (y/n) had two.

=flashback=

"(Y/n) (l/n)." Professor McGonagall (if that's how you spell it) read out as the eleven year old made her way to the stool in front of her. As she took a seat the sorting hat was placed on top of her head and the hat sprung to life.

"Ah a difficult one I see. Brave like a Gryffindor and cunning like a Slytherin. You have the equal amount of traits for both Gryffindor and Slytherin..."

"What does that mean?" (y/n) asked curiosly as the hat thought over its answer.

"It means I'm going to have to place you in.... SLYTHINDOR!" The hall burst out into whispers as the (hair colour) haired girl smiled from ear to ear.

=end of flashback=

When she was asked, (Y/n) couldn't choose which house to go in so she did her own thing. For the past 5 years she stayed at the Gryffindor tower and was great friends with all the Gryffindors, she was also friends with most of the Slytherins.

When it came to uniform
(y/n) didn't stick with one houses uniform. She wore the Gryffindor robes, the Slytherin tye and a scarf that was a combination of them both.

(Y/n) loved being different because she was unique and one of a kind.
