(Y/n)'s pov

I was sitting in the great hall talking to my friends when I saw Harry get up and talk to that girl that was recently cursed.

I watched the two talk until something else caught my eye. My best friend and crush, Draco Malfoy.

He stood in the middle of the hall staring at Harry and the other girl until he quickly spun around and left. I got up and started to follow him through the halls. I felt like someone was following me but I brushed it off.

I followed Draco into one of the bathrooms. He was standing at one of the sinks, nearly in tears. He pulled off his jumper then looked in the mirror.

He saw my reflection in the glass and he imidiatly spun around. The look on his face broke my heart, so many emotions. Remorse, regret, sadness and there was something else there that I couldn't place. "Draco are you alright?" I asked but he didn't respond.

He suddenly rushed towards me and wrapped his arms around my middle. I hugged him back as he placed his head on my sholder.

We stood there for a good few minutes as I rubbed circles on his back and comforted him.

Then I felt something wet on my shoulder. I then relised, Draco was crying.

"I'm such a bad person." Draco said as he pulled back a bit, just enough so he could see my face.

"No your not Draco. Don't ever say that about your self." I said. I wiped away his tears gently and looked into his stormy grey eyes.

"You don't get it (y/n) I really am-" He began but I cut him off. "I do understand Draco and you are definitely not a bad person."

"I don't know what I would do without you (y/n)." He whispered as more tears threaten to fall. I give him a small smile then replied "I don't know what I would do without you too, Draco."

I gave him a small kiss on his cheek then left to go back to the great hall.

I didn't get far before I heard shouts and stuff breaking from the bathroom Draco was in.

By the time I got back there Harry Potter just left and professor Snape was mumbling something almost incoherent as he waved his wand over Draco. WAIT! DRACO?!

I rushed to his side to see the last of the red spots that cover him dissappear. Professor Snape noticed me there and stood up.

"Miss (l/n) I do suggest you take Mister Malfoy here to the hospital wing." Snape said in his normal moniton voice gesturing to Draco who was laying on the floor unconscious.

"Yes Professor." I said as I managed to get Draco to his feet with his arm around my neck.

I got Draco to the hospital wing and lay him down on one of the beds. A few moments later he started to regain consciousness.

His eyes fluttered open as he tried to sit up. "What happened?" He mumbled. "I'm not entirely sure but I managed to get you to the hospital wing." I replied.

He looked up at me and smiled. It was an actual smile, not his usual smirk that everyone else sees, an actual genuine smile that only I get to see.

"Thank you." He whispered as he looked into my (e/c) eyes. I replied with a simple "No problem." He huged me again and we just sat like that for a bit until he broke the comfortable silence.

"There's something I should probably tell you." Draco said as he looked down on at the bed. "What is it Draco?" I asked.

He rolled up his sleeve to reveal his dark mark. I pulled my sleeve up to reveal mine to. His eyes widened when he saw my mark.

"Both my parents were death eaters. They forced me to become one before they died." I explained. I covered my mark back up. "So when I said I understand, I really do."

Draco huged me again. "I'm sorry. No one should have to go through that." He said as he looked into my eyes.

"You don't have to be sorry it wasn't your fault." I said. He looked at my lips and then my eyes. Slowly he started to lean forward until I closed the gap between us. The kiss was short but sweet and passionate.

When we pulled apart for air Draco rested his forhead on mine. "Thank you"

"What for?" I asked.

He kissed me again then replied. "For always being there for me when no one else was."
