The day had finally come. Graduation. Many of the older students went back to repeat their seventh year at Hogwarts due to the battle as most of them had to skip the year.

Draco Malfoy and Addison King were two of those students. Addison and Draco had been friends since first year. From the moment Draco had laid eyes on Addison he knew that she would become someone very close to him.

When they had to be sorted into their houses Draco was afraid that Addison wouldn't be in the same house as him. Meaning that even if they stayed friends, there would always be a gap between them that nothing could fill.

Draco had sat down at the Slytherin table as Addison's name was called. He started getting anxious as the hat was placed on top of Addison's long hazelnut hair.

"SLYTHERIN"  The hat finally called out and Draco relaxed, letting out a breath he didn't even know he was holding as the girl bounded to the Slytherin table and took a seat next to Draco.

The two grew up together, becoming best friends and sticking together threw thick and thin.

As time went by Draco developed feelings for the girl with the greyish green eyes. In forth year for the yule ball Draco had asked Addison to be his date. The girl was ecstatic. Even though it was not said out loud Addison knew that her feelings were no longer just one way.

It wasn't until sixth year that the two became a couple. Addison had found Draco up in the astronomy tower alone one night. She could tell something was on his mind and after a while of sitting in silence, Addison finally asked what was wrong.

Draco told Addison everything, why he had been so distant, why he had been avoiding her, about the Dark mark, just everything.

"I don't see why you still like me." Draco had said. Addison didn't say anything but she did respond by pushing her lips on his, shutting Draco up in the process. He kissed her back after the shock went away.

"That's why." Addison replied.

Ever since that moment the two started to go out. They had their arguments and their moments but they always stayed together growing closer and closer everyday.

And that brings us back to graduation.
The students graduating filled the great hall, dressed in their robes and caps. As head boy and girl, Addison and Draco had to make speeches which they would be giving to the rest of their peers.

Draco stood at the front of the hall, Addison not to far away, he nervously fumbled with a small box in his hand. He opened it, making sure it's precious content was still there before slipping it into the pocket of his robe.

The platinum blond was extremely nervous, not because of the speech but because of a different reason. He was about to ask the biggest, most important question in front of a hall full of people and if he didn't get the answer he would like, he would be embarrassing himself an awful lot.

Addison went first. She went on to talk about her time at Hogwarts and how she'll never forget the amazing people that she'd met and all that she learnt at the school. Soon enough Addison finished her speech and it was Draco's turn. He cleared his throat and held his shaking hands behind his back.

"I know that a majority of you here don't particularly like me for what I've done in the past but I would like to say, despite what's happened, I have enjoyed my time here in this  school, I've made friends" Draco glanced at Blaze who had a smirk plastered on his face. "I've made one or two enemies" he looked at Harry and Ron who chuckled at Draco's words. "And I've met the love of my life" he turned to look at Addison who was smiling and had a bright red face due to her blushing so much. "And I don't want to be remembered as the boy who made all the wrong choices."

Draco pulled the box out of his pocket but kept it hidden in his hand as he made his way over to his girlfriend.

"I want to be known as the man who proposed on graduation day"

Draco got down on one knee in front of Addison and opened up the small box, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. Addison gasped, surprised by what was happening.

"Addison King, will you marry me?"

Tears of joy ran down Addison's cheeks. "Yes!" She replied. Draco stood up and slipped the ring onto Addison's finger. She jumped into his arms and he responded by twirling her around. All the students and teachers clapped and cheered for the couple. Draco placed Addison down and kissed her.

"I can't wait until I can call you Mrs Addison Malfoy." Draco smirked. Addison smiled and kissed her fiancé once more.
