(AN: this one has some Mabel x Pacifica in it as well, so if you don't ship it, skip it! :D (That was unbelievably cheesy but the point remains. I'm sorry, I ship it *^*) Enjoy!)

___________________________Dipper was absentmindedly watching tv on the Used To Be About History Channel. It was the first time in a few weeks that he wasn't out doing something with Bill or Mabel, or looking for monsters in the Gravity Falls woods. It felt so good to be lazy for once, and he planned on not getting up for anything until he had to eat dinner.
Just as one of his favorite shows was about to start, Mabel burst into the room, practically yelling, "Hey Dipper! Did you hear? They just opened up an ice skating rink in town! We gotta go to the grand opening!" Without taking his eyes off the screen, he replied with a cocked eyebrow, "Ice skating? In the summer? Isn't that kinda like swimming in the winter? It's just unnatural."
"So?" she retaliated, "We haven't gone at all last winter! ... Plus Pacifica invited us!" The corners of his mouth twisted into a mischievous smile. "Oh, so that's what this is about," he said with a tone to match. She had just recently admitted to a crush on the fake-blonde. "Whaaaat? Nooo..." she responded, laughing nervously. "Oh really? Then just let me put on my skepticals," said Dipper, making loops with his fingers and holding them in front of his eyes like she once did to him. His twin hesitated before admitting, "Ok, fine, I need a wingman and Candy and Grenda are busy! And I can't go alone!" Dipper wasn't phased, however. "Just ask Bill, I'm sure he'd be a good wingman," he responded. The demon was definitely more skilled in the romance department. How could Dipper help someone else get a date if he couldn't even get one in his own? I mean, he wasn't even the one that initiated much of anything with Bill!
"Aw come on, bro bro, it wouldn't be as much fun without you!" she replied. He was getting a little annoyed now. "You're just saying that because I'm awful at it!" Dipper snapped, folding his arms. Mabel fell silent. She couldn't argue. She crossed her arms and begrudgingly stomped out of the room.
The doorbell rang an obnoxious number of times some time later. Dipper sighed. Not even through one episode and she shows up with reinforcements! He thought to himself as Mabel swung the door open to reveal his boyfriend. "Oh, Bill! What a surprise! Come in!" she said with fake innocence. As soon as the blonde walked in, he immediately sprinted to Dipper and jumped in his lap with enough force to leave bruises. "We're going ice skating! Whatever that is!" Bill said cheerily.
"No, we're not," Dipper replied firmly. Bill sarcastically pouted. "But Pine Treee!" he whined. Dipper gave him a really?-is-that-supposed-to-sway-me? face, complete with a cocked eyebrow. "But I've never done it before! It's your responsibility to take me," he retaliated. The brunette still wasn't phased and remained silent. "If you don't go with me, no more making out for a whole month!" Bill threatened. "You wouldn't," Dipper replied seriously. "Oh but I would! You can't stop me!"
After a few moments, Dipper sighed. "Damn, looks like we won't be able to kiss for a while," he said nonchalantly with a hint of smugness. Bill was taken aback at his miscalculation. He honestly expected that to work! He hesitated before snatching Dipper's signature pine tree hat as a last resort and ran to Mabel's side, who watched this all unfold and was trying extremely hard not to laugh. "Dammit, Bill! Give that back!" he said, jumping up from his spot on the chair. However, even as he tried to jump up to it, Bill would just use his powers to float it up to the ceiling. Finally, Dipped sighed. "Alright, let's go ice skating," he said begrudgingly, then mumbling, "I'm up now, so that plan went out the window anyway." He combed through his messy hair before putting his hat back on.
"Teach me your ways!" Mabel praised, bringing the blonde into a quick hug before dashing up the stairs to get ready. Once she was out of earshot, Bill turned to Dipper with his signature smug grin. "Thanks for coming with us~! I guess that means I can still do this," he said just as he leaned in to swoop the brunette into a kiss. Dipper wanted to pull away, but he was swept away in the moment, eyes fluttering shut.
Just then, the two heard footsteps coming up from Ford's lab, but they hadn't realized it soon enough. Dipper snapped his eyes open to see Ford, standing there in the doorway leading to the gift shop, mouth agape as though trying to find words and utterly failing. The brunette pushed a dazed Bill away and said awkwardly, "Oh, uh, hey G-Gruncle Ford! M-Mabel, Bill, and I are gonna do- uh, go to the new ice rink."
"I hear embarrassment! Where's the object of ridicule? Is it Dipper again?" said Stan, who looked up from his spot in the kitchen over the newspaper he had been reading, having not paid any attention to the situation until it got funny. No words were needed; with a quick glance at the scene he burst out laughing. Just then, Mabel emerged from upstairs, much to the brunette's relief. "OH HEY MABEL LETS GO!" he said a little louder than he meant. Not soon enough, the three of them were in the car, driving away from the Mystery Shack. Dipper never thought he would even think that today, but I guess you never know how the day will play out.
