Chapter 16

Lexi's P.O.V

It's been a few days since we got attacked by the Governor. Glenn and I sleep in the gaurd tower to keep watch and get privacy.

Glenn's P.O.V

I grabbed a camera that I got on a run the other day. I took a picture of Lexi while she was asleep and the flash woke her up. "Sorry" I said smiling. "It's ok" Lexi said as she looked up at me. "Well I gotta go help Daryl today" I said as I opened the tower door. Lexi kissed me as I was about to go down. "I love you" I said before leaving. "I love you too" Lexi replied.

Lexi's P.O.V

Hershel had been a like a father to me since mine died. I looked out to the field where Hershel was standing. Then a truck come out of the woods and broke the gate. It opened the back of the truck and walkers came out and Hershel was still in the field. "HERSHEL GET OUT OF THERE" I yelled. "CARL GO TO THE GAURD TOWER WITH LEXI" Rick yelled over to Carl. "GLENN" I yelled. "We're gonna need him to help get Hershel" Rick said calmly. They got Hershel out of the field and safely back at the prison.

Glenn's P.O.V

"Have you seen Lexi" I asked Daryl. "Last I heard she was goin to shower" Daryl replied. "Oh ok well thanks" I said before running back to the showers. Lexi is so beautiful. After I found Lexi we all went outside well most of us then we heard gun shots. "Lexi get Carl and go to the Gaurd tower" I yelled towards her as I was running inside. When we got in there Daryl was killing walkers. "Was it a breech" I asked grabbing a gun. "No these are our people" Daryl said as he shot one of our own.

Lexi's P.O.V

It's been about an hour since the gun shots stoped I hope their ok. "Glenn" I yelled as I saw him walk out towards me. "Step back" Glenn said. "Did you get bitten or scratched?" I asked as tears started rolling down my face. "No some kind of flue is going around and I've been exposed" Glenn said stepping back. I didn't care I ran and hugged him anyway.
