Chapter 23

Lexi's P.O.V

"We can't seriously be thinking about not going" I said. "Rick Lexi will be having the baby in a few more months and we need a safe place for that" Glenn said as he jumped by my side. "Fine we'll leave at dark" Rick said. "It's too dangerous to leave at dark" Erin said. "Then tell us where your group is" Rick said as he sat down. Erin just shook his head. "Then it's settled we leave at dark" Rick replied looking at all of us. We all ate and rested. Once it was dark I got in the RV. "Alright I want Glenn, Michone, and Erin in the car with me and the rest go in the RV" Rick said as he opened the car door. We all agreed and got in our vehicles. We were doing alright until Abraham saw a huge heard of walkers in the road where we were headed Rick ran right through them and we turned and followed the flare that was shot into the air.

Glenn's P.O.V

"Did you see them get away" I yelled towards Rick. "Yes they cut down that other road" Rick said as we jumped out of the car.

Lexi's P.O.V

"Lexi I'm sure their ok" Beth said as I hugged her tightly. "I know but that doesn't keep me from worrying" I said biting my lip to hold back the tears. We waited 10 minutes and then Rick came running into the building we were in. "Glenn we'll find them I promise" I heard Rick say in a whispered tone. "I know we will I hope she's alright" Glenn replied. I walked out of the room we were all huddling in. "Get that gun out of my face" I said as I pushed it away. "Lexi" Glenn asked as he walked over. "Yes Glenn" I replied as he ran over and hugged me. "Where are the others" Rick asked looking around. "Guys come on out" I said. "Oh and Erin your friend is in there he helped save our asses" I said with a smile. I walked into the back room with him and realized they were a couple. I thought it was sweet.
