Chapter Thirteen What?

Since the last time I talked to Kassie, after she told me to leave her alone, she was acting really strange. It's like whenever I see her or Jack they seem so tired of fighting about why she hates to sleep. But something tells me that Jack knows and he's not going to be telling anyone for a very long time.

"So how did you find out?"

"Find what out?"
"Why your sister hates to sleep."

"I don't know. I want to. But I don't"
"Dude you really suck at lying you know that right?"

"I really don't know and even if I did do you really think that I would tell you? My sister doesn't like it when I tell everyone of her friends her business."

"I know that, but I want to know really, really bad."

"Ok here's a hint and I doubt she ever talked about this but it has something to do with when we were younger."

"Dude she never ever thought about talking about her past life or younger life."

"I knew she wasn't going to say anything about. I also know that she hates people asking and asking and asking about something stupid like her past life."

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing just forget that I said anything. I don't want to talk abou it. I never want to talk about it."

With that being said Jack walked off. He walked with his head down. He walked just like Kassie does when she's having a bad day. I just want to know what it is. Before I moved I saw Kassie walk into the school building away from where I was standing. I saw her holding something. I know it wasn't a book or something like that. I looked like a notebook.

After a while I walked into the school. I saw her like a few feet away from me. I saw her look at the notebook and then look at the trashcan. It looked like she was trying to debate about throwing it away or to keep. After a few seconds she tossed into the can and walked away. I waited until she was out of sight before I walked over to the trash and picked it up. I opened it. What I saw was not like any other notebook I have seen in my life. What is she hiding in here?
