Chapter Eighteen New Information

I saw Max, Kassie, and Jack walking in the hallway. They looked like before Kassie started to ignore us so much. It looks like they know more than I do about something. I will have to ask Max about that. When Max saw me. He said bye to them and walked over to me. I saw the way Jack looked at me than at Kassie than back at me. I won't worry too much about it.

After school was over. I walked to the front of the school building. I waited until Max

to come out of the doors. I saw him. But he was walking out with Kassie and Jack. He waved to me and told me to wait one second. He said something to them and walked over to me.

"Hey I'm going to ride home with Jack and Kassie. But if you want me to walk home with you I will. I just will have to tell them."

"No it's fine I can walk home alone. But what's going on with them?"

"Nothing don't worry about it. I know what you are going to do but hey just don't think about the wrongs of this situation. I'm trying to help them with something."

"What is that something?"

"Nothing. Forget I said anything."

With that he walked away from me back to them. I want to know what's going on with all of them. I watched as they all drove off in Jack's new range rover. All black with tinted windows. It seems that ever since these murders have started Kassie and Jack started to talk again. Kassie left her mom and stepdad's house and moved in with her dad and Jack. She left our little group of friends. Now Max is leaving to.

The next day was Saturday. They said that they were going to try and cancel school next week. Well not cancel but but us on break for that whole week. When my mom told me I was excited. I was going to get Max to tell me what he knows one way or another. But I have a feeling that Kassie and Jack are going to be hanging out together.

After a while of just hanging out in my room by myself. I decided to text Max.

Hey Max! What are you going to be doing today? If you aren't doing anything do you want to hang out?-Allie

I was going to be going to a lake house with Jack and them. I can hang out with you after I come back though. I can ask if you can come. I mean so you don't get bored.-Max

No. I can ask my mom if I can go up to our lake house in Canada. But I want to hang out with you this week after you come back. Can you tell me anything about what's going on in Kassie and Jack's lives that you're helping them with?-Allie

Ok have fun in Canada with your family. I wish that I could tell you. I really do. I am going to tell you one thing. And one thing only.Do you want to know?-Max

They... They are going through something that I have no information on. It's from something that happened a long time ago. It only happened to Kassie but it still hurt Jack in more ways than one. Things for them started to act up more and more once the murders had happened. I don't know anything else. I swear I don't. Don't say anything to them about this. Okay?-Max

I was shocked that whatever happened to them is haunting them everyday of their lives and there is nothing for anyone to do about it. That must be why they are ignoring everyone around them.

With that being said I walked into my closet and looked at the box that was in there and thought maybe whoever brought this here wants me to find out who is doing this and put an end to this all. I have to. I have a piece of evidence and I want to find out who it is more than anyone. This is all too new to me. I guess this is why they call it new information. I will find out who is doing this and I will put an end to it. One way or another.
