Right after the appointment with Kassie and Jack. I realized one thing. They need help with something that is bothering them beyond what they can say. My mom says that I shouldn't say anything about it to them. But I know for a fact that once I see one of them in the hallway I will say something to them. But I really want to say something to them.
When I walked into school. The first person I see is Jack. He looks so tired and done with whatever it is that is bothering him. I start to walk towards him, but I stop. I see in the distance Kassie walking towards her car. I saw her get into it. But she didn't start it and leave. It looked like she was crying about something. I walked over to her car. When I got close to her car i knocked on her window. After I knocked on the window she looked up.
"Open the door."
After I said that she opened the doors. I walked over to the passenger side and got in.
"What's the matter?"
"Nothing. I'm just done with all the fighting."
"What fighting? No one is fighting."
"You don't understand. You only understand what you saw in my testing. That's it."
That hurt really really bad. I wish that I knew more, but she pushes everyone away so
fast and never looks back afterwards.
"Then make me understand. I have no idea what the hell is going on in your life because you never talk to me or Allie anymore. We knew you better than anyone else would. Tell me and then I will understand you better."
It looked like she was debating weather or not to tell me what's going on in her life. After a while she looked back at me.
"You want to know everything?"
"Yes."
"Fine. But remember you were the one that wanted to know everything about me and my life."
I wanted until she was ready to tell me what she wanted to. As she started to talk about all of this stuff. I realized that she really was done with a lot of things in her life. At one point in this conversation she said that she was done. What does she mean about being done?
