+Melanie's POV+
I basically rolled out of bed when my beeping alarm clock went off.
Groaning, I looked over at my clock to read the time, it read with bright red numbers, 10:00 AM.
I walked into my bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth and put my hair into a ponytail.
As I walked down the steps I looked at the texts Harry and I exchanged last night.
Harry: 'Wear shorts, we're doing something, active, you could say.
'I failed gym so maybe you should rethink your plans.'
'I think you'll be able to do it. If not we can go get pizza.'
'That sounds fantastic, we should go with plan b.'
'You're no fun, remember be up by 11 maybe we can do both.'
"Good morning smily, what's got your lips in a twist." Alison greeted me once I made it to the kitchen.
"What?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Forget it, but for real, tell me what's Harry taking you to today."
"How do you even know if Harry is taking me somewhere today." I said looking through the fridge to hopefully find some food.
"Because the way you were smiling was the way you were smiling last night when he picked you up." She said walking past me to the couches. "Just be safe if you know what I mean!" She yelled to me and I knew she was smirking by the sound of her voice.
I laughed and grabbed an apple and ran back upstairs to get dressed.
After putting on shorts and a t-shirt I just put on Converse, who knows where this boy could be taking me.
As I finished tying my last shoe the doorbell rang, grabbing my phone and my wallet I went down the stairs to open my door to Harry.
He had his back turned away from the door with his hands stuffed in his long black coat. He was wearing ridiculously bright green sneakers and jeans that looked way to small to fit him, and a pair of Ray Bans sat onto of his make-shift quiff he created.
"Hello there." I said walking out onto the porch where he stood.
He quickly turned around to face me, "hi." He said smiling at me.
"Do you need something? You're gonna scare the kids." I said joking.
"Haha, you're hilarious." He said walking over to me and gave me a hug.
"You are wearing a trench coat though." I said, my words mumbled by his giant coat.
"What you don't like it?" Harry said pulling out of the warm embrace and walked to his car as I followed.
"It's defiantly a fashion choice." I smirked as I climbed into his big SUV.
"Doesn't all the photographers bother you." I ask as the car started up.
"Not really, I'm used to it now, at first I guess it did because I wasn't used to it. But American paparazzi's are the absolute worst."
"I love how you talking to me and expecting for me to say, oh my goodness you're right." I laughed while turning on the radio.
"I didn't mean it like that. And hey get your hands off my radio."
"Fine, pick a song, but don't put anything weird on." I said sitting back against the seat.
"What do you think my music type is like?" He asked looking over at me briefly.
"I dunno, I just hope it's not the genre you sing. No offence of course." I said placing my hand on his arm.
"You're right, the music I sing is too bubble-gummy for me. The first album was worst then the second."
"I guess you're right, I don't know, I've only heard one or two off the album." I said shrugging.
"We'll just have to change that then," He said and then pressed a button and a familiar beat started coming out of the speakers. It was obviously one of his songs.
"I can not believe you have your own album in your car." I said laughing.
"Hey, if you had an album wouldn't you play it all the time?"
"No, that would make it seem as if I was obsessed with myself."
"I'm defiantly not obsessed with myself."
"The proof of the CD is enough for me." I said smiling at him as his face was in a frustrated look.
"We're here so we can stop talking about this." He said shutting off the music as we pulled into a parking space across from a laser tag arena.
"We're going laser tagging?" I asked jumping out of the car followed by Harry.
"Yeah, I asked Louis what we should do and he suggested this, but if you want to go somewhere else, or do something, I-um, I don't mind, whatever you wanna do, because I don't know you may not like to do this kind of stuff." Harry said rambling on, obviously nervous, it was quite cute.
I took his hand in mine and swung it back and forth, "this is perfect, thank you Harry."
We walked up to the front of the arena, still holding hands, so we could pay and start playing. The girl at the front was on her phone and popping her gum.
Harry coughed making her look up at us, she started smiling.
"Hi, I'm Tayler, if you need anything just let me know."
"Um just a game please." He said shifting uncomfortably. It was so awkward, her gazing at him like he was some sort of prey.
She nodded and pushed her arms together so her boobs looked bigger. Her doings didn't even pass Harry as he just handed her the money and took my hand leading us towards the arena.
"Could I get a picture?" She yelled over to us as we were about to round the corner.
Harry sighed and turned us around, putting on a smile, "of course."
She came out behind the counter and handed me her phone.
"Can you kiss my cheek?" She asked Harry and he looked over at me asking for my approval. I just nodded.
A/N: Thank you so so so so much for 24k, i'm so sorry that I didn't post that much this week, I had a lot of homework and was super busy.
I left it with a big cliffhanger because why not? Don't hate me too much.
Big thanks to Tayler who came up with an idea for their date. Xoxo
