+Melanie's POV+
I collided with a tall body, as the person wrapped their arms around me to balance myself. When I had finally gotten my balance I looked up to see that Harry was my savior. Well kinda.
He looked down at me and brushed the hair out of my face that had fallen from behind my ears. He then put his hand back around my waist, in an attempt to pull me closer to him, even though the shields made it impossible to get chest to chest.
I didn't mind his embrace, it was comforting, and by the way his arms wrapped around me his muscles looked more dominate and sculpted.
He smelled of cinnamon and lightly of mint, which defiantly suited him.
I suddenly saw his face get closer and closer to mine. I knew what was going to happen next.
+Harry's POV+
This was the perfect time to kiss her. Her hair was out of place, but she still looked gorgeous. I slowly moved my jaw closer to her face.
The next thing I knew I felt her pull back and a buzzing on my chest. I looked down at my shield to see that it was glowing green.
She fucking shot me. That little tease.
When I looked back at her she stood there laughing and then ran away.
Instead of chasing after her I sulked back to my side. I felt defeated. No one has ever turned me down for a kiss. To be honest, no one has ever turned me down for anything. Anything.
When I finally reached my side the lights came up and the music stopped.
"Team Red is the winner!" The man from the desk said over the speaker.
A cheer was made from Lucy and Melanie who were both on the green side, my side.
Melanie walked over to me smiling.
"I told you girls were better than boys." She said poking my chest.
"In my defense, you distracted me, otherwise I defiantly would've won." I said referring to our almost kiss.
She threw her head back and laughed, making me smile. She had a cute laugh.
Melanie grabbed my hand and walked us out of the arena after grabbing my coat.
We returned our laser guns and shields back to the man at the desk and said goodbye to Michael and Lucy.
Once we closed the doors to the arena room, Melanie turned to me, "loser buys pizza."
"Since when was that ever part of this game." I said smiling at her as we walked out and around the corner to be mobbed by tons of fans and paps.
"Ok fine pizza on me." I said gripping Melanie's hand tighter, no way am I going to let another dirty pap hit her in the head again. I pulled her body closer to me so we wouldn't get separated.
I knew Melanie wanted me to stop to take pictures with fans, but I was more worried about Melanie's safety then to take pictures with fucking random girls.
As we rounded the corner more girls started running after us and started screaming and yelling for me. Last time I go out without security. This is insane.
We finally reached a pizza shop and quickly opened then closed the door.
I'm guessing the owner, come out from behind the counter.
"Do you think we can lock this? I'll take a picture or give an autograph." I said using my popularity to get what I want. Melanie nudged me and then gave me a face.
I already knew she didn't like to get free things because of being famous.
The guy didn't reply, but went up to the door to lock it, then he turned to the door in the back and yelled something in Italian and soon two girls who looked like they were in their good 30's or 40's, and then four men followed who looked like they were in their 40's also.
"You take picture?" The man said trying to speak English.
I nodded then looked over at Melanie who had her hand out to take the picture.
+Melanie's POV+
The owner gave me his camera, it was one of those really old one's that came out prehistoric times. I just smiled at the cuteness of this; I'm guess, family.
Harry walked between the two older men in the middle and turned to face me. He flashed me a smile, making me laugh.
The rest of the family gathered around the two older men and smiled.
"Ok, three, two, one, say pizza!!" I yelled taking the picture as Harry laughed and everyone around him laughed too.
I handed the camera back to the owner who said, "grazie". I just smiled back at him and went back to Harry who was attempting to talk to some of the owner's family.
I could hear all of the girls outside screaming and banging on the window so Harry could turn around, but he was too happy and cut up on talking to these people that he didn't even bother to turn around. It actually warmed my heart to see that he wasn't trying to just focus on being famous; it was almost like he finally understood what other people go through. Not that I'm not surprised, I'm sure Harry's really down to Earth with the people from Cheshire, but when he steps out of there, I think he doesn't sometimes understand, that people everywhere like him for himself, not for him just being Harry Styles.
+Harry's POV+
It was amazing to be able to sit there and have a conversation with these people, people that I don't even know, it was crazy.
I knew that Melanie was standing behind us awkwardly so I stepped out of the bubble I was in and walked to the counter to get us food.
Once I paid for our food, me being the loser, we sat down at one of the booths, sadly being right next to the window. You could see tons of girls now, banging on the window to get me to turn around. Melanie didn't talk that much; she kept her head down and ate her pizza. She's probably not used to being around this many people.
This was crazy though, I've never seen this many people come so quickly, somebody probably tweeted. How we were going to get out of here, the world may never know.
But for right now I was just enjoying Melanie's company.
