Louis and I walked into the jewelry store. A few of the workers heads turned up to look to see who the new costumers were. All of the workers were in their late forties, so they either didn't care who we were, are knew who we were and wanted to get a lot of money out of us.
"Gentleman!" An older looking man wearing a suit said approaching us. He was probably the owner or the manager. "What do you fine lads need today?" He said in his now very noticeable irish accent.
"I need to get a birthday present." I said putting my hands in my pocket.
"Ahh, I see. Is it for your girlfriend?" The man awkwardly asked me.
Louis stifled a laugh and I shifted to the other foot. "Not yet, but hopefully soon."
"Ok, so this is like a present to win her over?" The man said beginning to think about what I should get Melanie.
"More of a birthday present. But you could say that too." I said nodding my head.
"I know exactly what you should get her. Follow me." This no-named man said turning on his feet and started walking away. He paused, "I'm Sean by the way."
I nodded and grabbed Louis' arm to keep him next to me.
Sean walked over to a section of necklaces. "You can get her this and customize it to have your initials on it, or hers whatever you want it to be. You can get it in gold or silver and which every font you want. These are different sized chains."
I looked over at Louis and mouthed, 'help.' He got the hint thankfully and looked over my should.
"My sisters usually wear this length, so get her that and in silver." He said pointing to the necklace.
"Should I get my initials or hers?" I said ignoring the fact that Sean was standing there watching us as we randomly pointed to different necklaces.
"It depends, if you're just going to get her this, you should get her initials, but if you're getting her something else, get yours so it won't be as awkward ya know?" Louis said crossing his arms.
"I'm going to get Coldplay to come play." I said smirking down at the necklaces.
"You're what? How are you possibly going to do that?"
"Easy, I'll call Chris and ask for a favor. I'll get a necklace like this with the initials 'HS' please." I said turning away from Louis to look at Sean who was standing there.
He nodded and walked away saying he would go ring it up and place an order.
After walking out of the store with a receipt and a number to call to come pick up the necklace, Louis and I walked out of the door to be greeted by tons of fans.
They started screaming as we waved to a few. Luckily the mall security came in no time and we were able to quickly sneak out the back.
"Sometimes I miss not having all of this you know? Like I wish I could be at Doncaster and be able to go to the mall whenever I like without being mobbed." Louis said walking down the steps of the back exit with me trailing.
"Yeah I guess so. I would give anything just to be able to go to university or something. I dunno." I said finding my car keys in my pocket. We walked to my car and we both got in considering Louis walked.
"Can you tell me your plan to ask Melanie out?" Louis said once I pulled out of the car park.
"Ok, so basically..."
+Melanie's POV+
Nick and I finally walked out to the parking garage to my car. We didn't talk on the radio, we do the breakfast show, but we have to plan our show a day in advance.
