Lets start with the authors note!
Okay, guys, I have so many ideas for this fanfic. The only problem is points of view. I really want to introduce new characters.
Don't expect indicators for pov changes however, because they will only be for side characters who thoughts and input are important to the story line; there wont be many characters with there own points of veiws. It will however be obvious when it changes to a new character; I will seperate it with this symbol:
={_}=
I know my plan was for only John's prospective to be here, but my plans have changed a bit. Dave's prospective will still be in his story though, along with other characters protaining to his side of the story.Alright, this being out the way, lets get going!

With a slight panic, I quickly gathered my papers for the boss. It was a privilage, not a right to be here. I knew this, and he ensured I knew this. I fumbled a bit, but managed to neatly stack my papers.
"Jade, relax." The robotic southern voice cooed. I sighed and nodded.
"Sorry...I'm just anxious... why did he want me to give this presentation? I'm just an intern!" I huffed in frustafion.
"Harley, you worry too much. Ever take a break to keep yourself sane?" The blonde asked curiously.
He so wasn't trying to hit on me right now!
HE JUST FUCKING WASNT-"Dirk Strider, I swear..." I threatened with a growl.
"Easy darlin'." He chuckled, "just remember, be confident-- and Harley? don't let the whole tough guy shtick give you a run for your money? Alright?" He smiled reassuringly.
I nodded, "yeah... see ya." I breathed in shakily and made my way to the main room our boss resided in.
I pushed open the door and smiled pleasantly at him.
"Youre late." A stern voice spoke.
I froze and gulped.
"I'm sorry sir. I had to find my documents." I spoke, trying to remain calm.
"Sit. Lets get this over with please." He crossed his arms.
"Y-yes sir right away." I again fumbled with my papers, adjusting my glasses.
"M-Mr...?" I awaited a response for what name he would like to go by."Doctor foolish girl." He corrected me sternly.
"Y-yes, doctor..." I corrected myself.
"Simply doctor will do. Please stop stalling. I wish to get on with my day." He pushed, standing now.
"Y-yes sir," I swallowed and fiddled with my glasses.
"The Youngest of the Striders have caught a rare specimen. A hybrid between demon and angel." I began. This caught the starch white males attention.
I continued, "He is in fine condition, we transported him from the kennels to a holding room for testing with your permission."
"Hm. Interesting. Do we a have a file created for it?" He asked curiously.
"Yes." I slid the folder to him. Its contents was spread onto the table by him. A picture, a few charts, and discription paper was there.
"Hm. Interesting indeed. He is quite a lovely specimen. I like this. Proceed with testing; endurence, anger levels, basic things. Then move to intellectual testing. If he doesn't cooporate, allow the "highblood" to fool with him." He explained.
Highbloods. Eek. They made my skin crawl.
"Yes sir." I nodded.
"Also Harley, tell David to report here please. I must talk to him about urgent matters."
Another nod, "Of course."
"you're dismissed." He waved his hand and turned away. I did as instructed and left.

I laid on the stretcher as I was pushed. The restraints were too tight for comfort. Eventually the pleasure cruise was ended and I was tossed off the stretcher. My blindfold was removed.
The room was... blindingly white.
it hurt my eyes, and took a while to adjust to the brightness."Welcome home nooksucker. Get comfy, our nerd department will be here to start testing you in about an hour." Karkat spoke harshley and closed the door.
I sat in the corner of the small room.
"Great..." I muttered. I was exhausted still. Though I slept far longer than I needed, the lack off nutrients made me weak.
I tried to conjure a flame but no avail. I could hardley lift my arm. It was sore.I laid down, "Is food a thing? Or is starvation common here?" I asked sarcastically.
And...
Well I didn't expect a reply.
maybe I didn't see the door open.
Not sure."That's my job to decide old chap." A British voice spoke with a smile. I sat up, a plate of food being laid down on the floor.
"I...thanks...I guess..." I spoke and reached for the plate.
He slapped my hand.
"Buh-buh-buh..." he smiled behind his thick framed glasses, "Not yet. Easy. How long have you gone without food?" He asked in a pleasant tone.
This asswaffle...
"Too long. I'm starving." I snapped irratably.
"Temper temper. Fine dear boy, eat up." He chuckled and pushed the plate towards me.
"Enough screwing around English. Out of the holding room. You have other subjects to feed." That familiar robotic laced voice spoke.
"Oh alright. Until next time!" He spoke cheerfully and left the room.
I took a bite...
and spat it out immediately.
What was this anyways?!"uck..." I muttered and stared at the slop they called food.
I pulled myself to eat it with an ireatable groan. It had the texture of wet pocket lint, the odor of old gym socks, and the flavour of something rancid found in a wastebin.
It was awful to say the least.
I pushed the empty plate away and shivered. Then the door opened once more.
Christ, couldn't a hybrid have 5 minutes alone to think?!
"Hm. Strap him down. We'll start with endurence to pain." The male spoke. His voice was a raspy whisper. He wore cracked sunglasses, and his dental wasn't the best; missing a few teeth from what he could see.
"Lets see just how...STRONG...you really are..." he spoke, smirking slightly.
