Chapter 10

"Hello, Can I get your name?" The lady at the desk asked

"Caidence Grey, I was supposed to be here about 35 minutes ago but I'm running a little late," I told the lady

"Alright please have a seat and I'll see if we can fit you in somewhere" she said

"Okay" I said

Me and Blake went to the corner and took our seats

"Blake, do you want to be in its life" I asked him referring to the baby

"Yeah, kinda I mean I did help make it,  I know what it's like to grow up not knowing your father and I don't want our kid to have to grow up like that." He said

"Oh, I'm sorry" I said

"It's fine, my dad died before I was born, I never knew him" he said

"Oh" I said

"Okay, if we are going to try and do this, Wes re going to need to get to know each other better" I said

"Yeah agreed" he said

"Well we have five months left until the baby comes so we have a lot of time" I said not wanting to rush into anything after what just happened with Malichi

"Yeah" he said

We just sat there and talked about our families, our hobbies, and other stuff like what each of us thought the baby was gonna be, he thinks it's a boy.

"Ms. Grey" said the nurse

I stood up and walked toward the door Blake following behind

AFTER ULTRASOUND APPT.

After the ultrasound, Blake was going to drop me off at my parents house since I couldn't go home to my shared apartment with Malichi but I remembered my mom and dad didn't want to see me either

"Blake,I-I can't go home, my parents don't want me there, they think I'm a disappointment." I said

"You can take me by my best friend Alesha's house, it's right down this road here" I said pointing towards the road on my right

"Alright, hey, I was right about the gender wasn't I?" He said

"Yeah, you were, what are you hinting at?" I asked smiling at the blonde boy behnd the steering wheel

"Well, I already thought of a name," he said

"Oh really, let me hear it" I said

"Wesley, it means protecting army" he said

"Wesley Jonathan Vailes, I like it" I said

"Jonathan?" He asked

"Yeah, it means gift from God, since he is our gift" I said

"Wesley Jonathan Vailes, I really like it" he said smiling ear to ear

"Me too" I said

"Alright bye, text you later?" He asked

"Yeah that's fine, I just have to charge my phone" I said

"K bye" he said

"Bye" I said before closing the car door and walking into Alesha's apartment

"What the hell, what happened to meeting at the park" she asked me

"Oh, yeah that's right"

I told her everything from what Malichi did to what me and Blake were talking about I saved the gender until last tho

"He seriously hit you" she asked

"Yeah" I said

"Oh trust me when I see that son of a bitch, I will, I WILL, kick his ass" she said

"Anyways to lighten the mood, you wanna know the baby's gender?" I asked her

"Duhhhh" she said

"It's a boy" I said
