After an hour of Alesha and I sitting in the waiting room, the doctor came out
"How is she?" Alesha asked
"She and the baby are okay" he said and I sighed a sigh of relief
"I'm putting her on bed rest, she isn't supposed to be in too much motion for the next five days to a week." The doctor said
Me and Alesha listened to the doctor as he told us some basic things we needed to know about her being in bed rest before he finally let us go back to see her
When I walked into her room she was asleep on the hospital bed with a huge needle in her arm and beeping machines.
I sat down on the chair beside her bed and looked at her. He checks were tear stained, her makeup running, eyes puffy but yet she still looked beautiful. I stayed staring at her untill her eyes fluttered open
"B-Blake?" She said sleepy
"I'm right here" I said grabbing her hand
"Ugh, my stomach" she said
Her hand went down to her belly and her eyes got wide and she looked at me panic in her eyes
"Is the baby okay??" She asked all panicked
"Baby, chill ok, he's fine" I said calming her down
She relaxed a bit before removing her hand
"Ugh so what's the plan?" She asked
"Well you get to leave as soon as the doctor tells you but you will be put on bed rest for a while"
I knew her, I knew she was constantly on the move, it would practically kill her to be on bed rest for a week
"And how long is a while?" She asked
"About five days to a week"
She pouted and rolled her eyes
"Come on Cade its for the good of the baby, I know you can handle it" i said
"Yeah I know I know"

After the doctor released her we drove home. Caidence couldn't keep still she was all jittery in the front seat
"Caidence, if you do not stop moving, I am going to duct tape you to that seat" Alesha said from the backseat
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! A week of not moving is going to be the death of me" she said
"Why, it's not that bad" Alesha said
"What if I drop the Netflix remote for the TV, or what if I get hungry, or what I-" she started
"Cade, it's not like you have to be a statue for a week you can still shift around just not too much" Alesha said laughing at her
That's pretty much how the rest of the car ride home was... Caidence complaining and Alesha and I laughing at her weird ideas of what could happen if she couldn't move, this was gonna be one fun week
