Chapter 13

THREE WEEKS LATER

Things have been going pretty well in Cadience land latley, except for my terrible morning sickness I'm five months now so things are starting to become real to me and Blake, a couple of days ago he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course, I said yes! I'm meeting his mom today and I'm not going to lie, I'm really nervous

I was currently in my room in Alesha's  house looking for something to wear, I was meeting Blakes mom and I wanted to make a good first impression I was trying to decide between a blazer or a dress until I felt arms snake around my waist and hands on my stomach. 

"Blake, which one should I wear" I said showing him he two choices

"Cade, it's not a party, your just meeting my mom, you don't have to be so formal, just wear that with some leggings and a shirt" he said pointing at a floral cover.

"Blake, I want to make a good first impression and-" I started

"And you will" he finished for me

I looked at him and back at the floral cover

"Ugh, ok fine!" I finally gave in

"Alright" he said

"Don't worry she will love you too" he said rubbing my pregnant belly

"Alright, let me get dressed" I said grabbing the floral cover and walking over to the door

"Babe, I still think Alesha hates me" he said standing in the door frame

"Yup, she probably does" I said closing the door in his face laughing

"Goodluck"I said loud enough so he could hear

"Ha ha so funny" he said

I laughed to myself and went over to the dresser

Time Jump

After getting dressed, I straightened my long brown hair and applied a little makeup and I was ready, I opened my door and walked to the living room to see Blake and Alesha actually talking

"Is the feud over? Oh my lord!" I said sarcastically

"Well, I don't hate him as much, he's alright" Alesha said

"Thanks for the stamp of approval" Blake said

"She gave you the okay to date me?" I asked him

"No she actually stamped my hand" he said showing his hand to me

I laughed before grabbing his hand and walking out the door to my car

"Oh lord, babe are you gonna drive?" He asked

"Well, it is my car" I said

"Dear Jesus, don't let today be the day you take me into the heavens" he said looking up at the sky

"Blake?" I asked

"Yes?"

"Get in the car" I said

"Ok" he said getting in the car making sure to buckle his seatbelt good

"Do you think I'm trying to kill you?" I asked adjusting my seatbelt

"Yes ma'am" he said

"Blake your a year older than me, don't call me ma'am" I said starting the car

"alright, how about yes love" right when he said that I felt a kick

"Yep, Wesley likes that better" I told him

"Alright Love, we need to go" Blake said

I put the car in drive and to scare Blake, I said "did I tell you I never passed my driving test?" And he looked at me wide eyed

"Are you lying, please tell me your lying" he asked and I just kept on driving
