Chapter 13

I watched Laughing Jack and Sage as they buried her dad.

'If only you would let me hold you. I would happily comfort you.' I thought sadly. They left and I followed.

They stopped at what looked like her dad's house. I watched through the window as she cried.
I watched walk up the stairs to her room.

I took this as my chance to get to know her and to leave her a gift I "acquired".

I knocked on the door and LJ opened it. "What do you want! Can't you see she's in enough pain! Why do you both have to be after her!" he growled.

"I-I just wanted t-to make s-s-sure she was alright." I stuttered.

""Why?" he glared at me. I shrank down.

"Because I lost my parents. I know how she feels. You lost a friend, there's a difference." I said.

He sighed and let me in. I thanked him and he handed me a cake.

"Give that to Sage. I have to clean this place up."

I nodded and headed for her room. I saw her in a room with dark purple walls and grey carpet. Fall out boy was playing in the background.

I knocked on the wall. She looked up at me.

"What?" she asked sadly.

"I brought you something. LJ said to bring it to you. So here." I said walking in and sitting the cake on her nightstand.
She looked at it.
"You eat it." she rolled over. Not wanting it.

"Are you sure? He made it for you."

"I'm not hungry." she said scooting over.

"Alright. I'll eat it. He probably did something to it anyway." I chuckled. She rolled over to face me. I took a bite and pretended to choke.

"The horror. The horror. I think I'm gonna be sick." I started laughing and she giggled.

"Your laugh is cute." I cooed.

She smiled and laid her head on my lap. I blushed.

"Why are you here? Aren't you and Slenderman supposed to fight over me to see who kills me." Sage said gloomily.

"Well not quite. We are now fighting for your love." I admitted. She nodded.

"And because I know what your going through. Although I killed my parents and brother. I still know how that hurts."

"But Lui is a Creepypasta." she mumbled.

"Yes but it still hurts me. I regret what I did." I felt shakey. Hot tears streamed down my face. A few must have landed on Sage because she sat up and hugged me. At first I was shocked, but I started to like it. I hugged her back. "Smiles you smell nice." she murmured into my chest. I stroked her hair. I looked out the window. Slenderman was out there.

I mouthed, "You won't tame her. She's mine." he got mad and left.

"W-will you stay with me?" she whispered.

"Sure." I grabbed the cake and finished it. Then I laid down with her on my chest.

We both went to sleep. Cuddled together.
