Reece Talk

I was taking my afternoon nap . Yeah well , it was the first time I ever took one .... At Least since I became a teen .
Why ? I was stressed out after remembering everything when I was talking to Ew and Court .
It was a peaceful nap , until , of course , my phone rang .
URGH ! How much I hate it !
" Hello . Shut up and bye . " I said sleepily . My voice was probably sounding like a dead horse ..... Wait , dead horses don't speak , do they ?
No Amanda , no .
I heard the guy laugh . Taking the phone of my ears and checking who it was, REECE .
" Reece ? " I asked .
" Yes . Oh my god , I'm so sorry I woke u up from ur beauty sleep . " He said in middle of laughs .
I groaned . He knew how much I hated those girly things like a beauty sleep .
" U suck , Reece . " I groaned .
He just laughed harder .
" Why did u call ? " I whined .
" Oh baby girl . Mad at me , eh ? " He said in a girly , high pitched voice .
I laughed .
" So , anyways . I wanted to know what's going on between u and Ryan . " He said in a serious tone .
I groaned and slammed my head in my favorite pillow .
" Why ? " I must have sounded weird cuz I was speaking with my face pushed into a pillow .
" Because .... Because ur my bestie and I care about you . " he said childishly . It made me smile .
" We were in a relationship . But we broke up cuz his bro died . And , bye . " I said , pushing the red button .
He didn't call back for another 1 minute . May be because he was stunned .
And then , after a minute , his call came .
" WHAAAAAAAAT ?! " He screeched .
I pulled the phone away from my ears so I don't go deaf .
" Would u keep it shut , girl ? " I said sarcastically .
I could imagine him rolling his eyes .
" U knew each other? AND u were in a relationship ? How come I didn't know any of this ?! " He said , annoyed .
I sighed . " Look , I'm sorry , okay ? But I knew him since we were in 3rd . And then in 7th he asked me to be his girlfriend . And then when we were 15 , I was at his house . He was in the kitchen . I and his bro , Logan were in the living room . Logan went to the veranda where there was no railing . Leaned , turned , then turned back with force and - " I said in short .
" I know . It's okay , Mandy . " He said , trying to comfort me as I burst into tears .
" It's all my mistake . " I said , crying .
I have never , ever cried so much in my life .
" Hey ! hey it's okay , Princess . "
I froze . My tears froze . As if the whole world just stopped .
" What-what did u just call me ? " I spluttered .
" Princess..... Is there any problem ? "
Yes . Yes there's a problem . Only Ryan used to call me that .
" No . No there's no problem . " I lied .
Then I heard footsteps coming toward my room .
" Someones coming , Ree . Got to go . Bye . "
" Bye . " He said , chuckling .
What was so funny ?
I opened the door and there was standing my best friend .
No , not Ewan . Not Courtney either . Reece Carter .
I smiled and jumped on him , hugging him tight .
" Hey hey , Mady Bear . " He said , resting his chin on my head .
I chuckled . That was a nickname he used to call me when we were little .
" Thank u , Reece . I really needed someone to comfort me . " I said , releasing my self .
" Why not Ewan or Courtney ? " He said teasingly .
I thought for a moment . " Because I wanted my Ree-butt-face . " I said .
We both burst out into laughters .
I remember well , that one day , when We were both 7 , Reece and i were playing in the park .
My cousin brother who was 15 at that Time had come to visit us . He kept talking to his friend and said a few people Butt-face . Not knowing what it meant , I started call Reece , Ree-butt-face and Reece called me Mady Bear .
" Hey . Mandy ? U died ? " I heard a voice speak .
I came out of my thoughts and smiled. " I was thinking about us . "
" So , anyway , I heard there was this musical completion up-coming ? " Reece said , changing the topic .
I patted the place beside me on the bed for him to sit , and nodded .
" So , u taking part ? "
" Are u ? "
" I asked u first , Princess . " He said , winking .
I froze again .
" Is there a problem when I call u Princess ? "
I sighed . " Ryan used to call me that . My princess . " I said , a small smile forming on my face .
Reece sighed . " Sorry . I never knew . Um... Mady Bear would be fine ? "
I chuckled sadly . " Yup . "
" So are u taking part ? "
I thought for a minute .
" Sure . I mean , what can go wrong ? "

But , my story ain't no happy one all the time . There are problems , tragedies , oh so emotions . But , we'll see . Let's hope for the best !
