My eyes moisturize .
I think for a long time .

Reece smiles . And then he hugs me .

My eyes widen again . I gulp . " Ok. "

It's been years since Ryan's funeral but I still can't get him out of my mind.
We're all 22 now . 7 years since Ryan's death .
So , I just returned from New York after an interview .
" Hey Ree ! " I said , giving him a kiss on the cheek .
I give hugs to mom , Ethan and my friends . Nicole is still in NY as that's where she lives now. Yeah well, Nicole's finally married to Daniel !!
" If u won't mind , may I take Mandy somewhere ? " Reece asks my mom .
Mom winks at me and says yes .

" Where are we ? " I ask . Reece has blindfolded me .
" 1....2.....3....and.. " He whispers , taking off my blindfold .
Oh no.
It's the same place where Ryan had taken me.
In our school , the terrace , the flowers .
All the memories flooded back in but I refused to cry .
" Do u like it ? " He asks .
I smile . " I love it . " I whisper .
" Well , that's not the reason I've bought u here . " He says , kissing me teasingly .
" Then ? " I say , giggling .
He kneels down .
OH.MY.FREAKING.GOD.
He takes out a tiny red box . A RING box .
He opens it and there lies a beautiful Diamond ring .
" Will u marry me , Amanda Tyler ? " He asks .
My jaw is still hung open.
Tears roll down . " Yes ! Yes I'll marry u ! " I say , hugging him .
Still in the hug , I hear Ryan's voice in my head .
He says , " Mandy . U did the right thing . Reece loves u a lot . But remember , I love u too . "
I smile . And then release myself from the hug .
I was gonna marry my best friend .
