What is a fandom?

We were waiting for cheese cake to be served out and I was blabbing on about one of my fandoms, like always.
And then my brother asks me a question:
"What is a Fandom?"
I just...I

Okay so there is this thing and it goes like this:

So I have three books stacked on top of each other so...

Ohhhkay....believe it or not this book has nearly no romance in it. And the romance in it is only like one kiss.

Sooo....that ended up awkward.
