Walking out of the girls house I make my way to my black Kawasaki Ninja 300 with red detailing.
Sliding my black helmet tinted glass over my head, then slide my leg over. Revving the engine a little before backing out of her driveway. I keep saying 'her' and 'girl' because truthfully I don't know her name.
Maybe I should introduce myself, I'm Lexa. I'm a senior - I don't know how I got here without being held back. I'm pretty sure I've slept with more than half the Senior class, girl wise anyway. My parents skipped town after the cops were catching onto their trail of little store robberies, when I was 15. Now, at the age of 18 I am a legal adult, I've been living in my own for about 7 or 8 months. So yeah that's me.
Pulling into the apartment complex, I pop my collar on my leather jacket to stay safe from the cold wind. Pulling off my helmet and letting my brown wavy hair fall down my back wildly.
Walking down down the hall to my apartment, I start to hear noises. Reaching into my pocket, I pull out my switch blade. Turning around I see a guy walking towards me, I pull my blade out and get in a stance to put up a fight.
As the guy gets closer I sigh then put my blade up. As he gets to where I can clearly see his face he starts laughing.
"You should've seen your face!" He laughs.
"Yeah sure you could've just died. I was waiting for a good fight" I smirk at Wells, my best friend since...just a long time.
"Sure Lexa" he smiles then puts his hand inside of his pockets and follows me up the stairs to my apartment.
I pull out my keys and unlock the door, only for Wells to run past me. I laugh as I notice his chattering teeth. Must be cold. Locking the door back, I throw my keys on the counter then move to the hall and turn the heater on.
"Want one?" I hold my cigarette box open to him and he gladly takes one. I light mine then throw him a lighter.
"What brings you to my humble abode?" I ask right before taking a long drag out of a much needed cigarette.
"I just came to tell you that Marco said your fight will be on tomorrow night" I smile
"Alright but you gotta tell him he needs to lay low cops are getting suspicious and watching me like a hawk" I explain for what seems like the 100th within 2 weeks.
"Alright I'll tell him" he shrugs then flicks the ashes off the cigarette into the nearby ashtray.
"Well I'm gonna jump in the shower, cause I still have a little brunette on my fingers" I smirk and he laughs before reaching down to take off his boots.
It's been this way since I got the place. Well's doesn't come over a lot but when he does, it's for a few days. I go to my room and pull out a white band tee and a pair of black boy shorts underwear. I got my bike through Marco, a guy who got me into the fighting. Eventually, through him taking money out of my paycheck for the fight nights, I finally paid it off - the bike's completely mine now.
