Chapter 22.

Lexa's P.O.V

"-and she just let her insult you like that? Then she put her hands on you?" Wells sighs from the other side of the table.

"Yeah and Clarke just stood there" Bellamy said and I couldn't help put put my head down on the table.

"Well I think our girl needs to either
A. Drink it off
B. Work it off
C. Cry it off" Wells lists off and I make a face at the last option.

"Bellamy you up for the gym?" I ask and raise my hand to give me a high five.

"So glad you didnt say cry" he smiles, "and yes I'm up for the gym" he pulls his shirt on. I run up the stairs to my dresser and throw on a black sports bra, red muscle tank with the white Nike symbol, some loose black basketball shorts, black Nike socks with the white symbol, and all black Nike free 5.0's.

"We're gonna have to stop by my house so I can grab my stuff" Bellamy says once I come down. At first I have no problem, but once we got there and Clarke just happened to be checking the mail, was kinda put in a sour mood.

"Hey" I look up from my phone to see Octavia at the door.

"Wassup?" I ask

"Clarke wants to talk to you but since Linda is here she can't" I scoff then look at Octavia.

"Tell her I said when she can grow some balls I'll be back but until then...I'm tired of getting the shit beat out of my for my sexuality" I roll up my window and Octavia takes the sign before Bellamy comes back seconds later.

"You ready?"He asks and I grip the wheel tightly.

"More then ever" I sigh then pull out of the neighborhood.

Clarke's P.O.V

She basically said sack up and come out to your family" Octavia tells me and I lay my head down.

"She'll fucking disown me" I hiss

"Well who's more important..your aunt you see once a year or your girlfriend you see pretty much everyday?" O questions and I smile at her.

"I hate when you get smart on me" she smiles then trots of to put room with a smile.

"Hurry up! Looks like we're going to the gym!" I exclaim and a second later Linda comes down.

"Why?" She asks

"Well Lexa is there.." she sucks her teeth at me.

"You can't see that dirty lesbian" she scoffs as if the most righteous thing.

"Well I'm going to see her because your not my mom" I move past her to the door but she catches my arm. "You will catch her homosexuality" she says in a voice laced with disgust.

"Well looks like you'll catch mine then because I'm bisexual and Lexa is my girlfriend. I thought keeping it from you would be good but it just hurt us both. I love her" her face looks horrified as she stomps down the stairs looking like a kid that didn't get their way.

"Octavia hurry dammit" I run down the steps albeit almost falling a couple times.

"Don't rush me woman"she bites at me as she jumps in her truck.

"I got to go tell the love of my life that I..Well love her"

Walking into the gym, I look around the machines until I see Bellamy at the treadmills. "Hey where's Lex?" I ask and he looks at me for a second then throws his thumb over his shoulder.

Wondering around the pretty good sized gym I finally see Lexa, rubbing up on some girl.

"It's probably not what it looks like. Shit like that happens all the time in movies" Octavia tries but I just mumble some obsurities then then away.

"Clarke?" Lexa steps away from the dark skinned woman with muscles who is also rocking a toned stomach.

"No please continue" I step away from an advancing Lexa and she rolls her eyes and jogs to catch up to me.

"Clarke stop" I stop to where she can step in front of me.

"What?"

"Your obviously here for working out so you must be here to see me, so what is it?" She asks

"Self-centered much? What if Im here to see my brother?" I snap in return.

"Are you?"

"No" I hear Octavia "cough" from behind me.

"I came to say I'm sorry only to find you rubbing up on some stranger"

"Simone? She's cool people. And I wasn't 'rubbing up on her' she was squating her max and I was helping her come up one last time' she explains and I hear Octavia whisper 'told you so' before walking to her truck.

"Well she's beautiful so take her home and woo her" she starts laughing and I frown at her.

"She has a husband and a 2 year old girl" she shakes her head then leans forward and puts her sweaty forehead to mine. With anyone else I would be screaming, but it's Lexa and I love her.

"I love you" I say the words I've been holding in. "You don't have to say it back right now-" I'm interupted by familiar soft lips crashing into mine and my arms instinctively wrap around her neck.

"I love you too Clarke. So much" she grabs my hand then runs to grab her bag, then out to her car.

"O I need a favor! Wait on Bellamy I'm taking Clarke to my house in my car. Thanks" the next minutes go by in a blur. Lexa would reach across and kiss my knuckles in the car, she gave me a ride on her back to be apartment, and when we finally got to her room she basically threw me on the couch

"I fucking love you" she says then removes my shirt and starts kissing me every part of skin exposed. "Let me just show you how much" she smirks. Before we can start the fun her phone goes off and she groans before seeing its Papa J.

"Hello" I can her a muffled voice on the other side of the line. After severely minutes of silence, Lexa speaks. "Yeah sure I'll call you back"

"What did he say?" I and and k is the side of her neck.

"So-uhhh-it turns out I have family that's wanting to meet me. It's my aunt who found me after years of looking. She's coming down in a few weeks, I need to call Papa J and give him the thumbs up that she can come so he called" she explains

"So are you excited?" I can help but question.

"Well yeah I kinda am but I've never met her. What if she's homophobic like yours is? What am I gonna do then?"

"Shes gonna have to live with the fact that she lost the best niece she could've ever had" I smile and she leans over and kisses me. It gets heated quickly before she whispers

"Now where were we?"
