Pov 1
It started with a smile. I had been standing in line, staring up at the board listing the 'Day's Specials' as I waited for my turn. She had come up and stood beside, mumbling softly as she looked at all the delicious cakes sitting behind the glass case. She'd turned around and our eyes met for that one second, her sparkling hazlenut with my boring brown and I had smiled politely. And she had smiled back.
It should have ended there, just like it had with the countless other strangers I had ever passed. Yet, for some reason, it didn't. We'd met again the next day and the next and so on, simply acknowledging each other with seemingly polite smiles. We didn't talk, simply smiling at each other as we gave our orders and then parting ways.
But for some reason, I found myself thinking about her more and more with each passing day. I wondered what it would be like to talk to her, to hold her lanky frame, to weave my hands through her luscious hair. I wondered what her voice would sound like and what it would be like to hold her hand in mine.
I didn't even know what she sounded like, let alone who she was. And yet, just that smile from her had me infatuated. I waited for the right time, I planned a thousand different ways to talk to her. But never going through with them, scrapping them out of fear that she wouldn't want to associate with someone like me. even though I was terrified, I wanted so bad to make a move. Luckily, it turns out I didn't have to.
Pov 2
That day, I'd been sitting in my usual booth, hidden away in a corner. Using my pink headphones, to pretend to listen to music when the bell on the door chimed, signalling the entrance of a patron. I looked up and was met with those deep coffee brown eyes that lulled me for these past weeks. Her petite frame, her blonde hair and that beautiful smile.
I waved my arms and called her to join me."Hey!"
"Ah...h-hey! You..."
"Well...I was thinking, hmm?" I looked right her in the eyes not noticing how red her cheeks were. How she kept wiping her sweaty palms on her ripped jeans. How adorable her nervousness was. I only saw her beautiful eyes.
"Ermm... yes?"
"Ah, right! I was wondering...well we keep seeing each other but I still don't know your name. Well what better way than today, right?"
"Taeyeon!! Eeeepp!" How adorable~
I giggled a little at her enthusiasm. I guess I wasn't the only one eager to know about the other.
"My name is Tiffany and I think ....this was inevitable...sigh-"
"Huh? W-wait did I do something wrong?"
"Yes....yes you did. You...."
"Err...what was it-"
"You smiled at me and I think I might have just fallen for you." I end it off with a smile and she stiffened up and fainted. Yes fainted. Hihihihi....
I rounded the table and place her head on my lap. Shaking her slowly, I could see signs of her regaining consciousness. Her eyes fluttered and fully opened and her cheeks began to glow pinkish but her face was in a dream-like state.
"Ahh~ am I still dreaming?" She asked as she tucked afew strands of my hair behind my ears.
"Why would you say that?"
"Because you're so close I could kiss you....w-wait I'm not really so lewd! I just....really like you..."
"Well....then, kiss me" Our lips met and the kiss deepened as her tongue snake into my mouth. We parted a little and she stiffened again. Fearing she might lose consciousness again I pecked her on the lips.
"........"
"........."
".......""So.... what are you doing in a shop like this on the new year?"
"I was....hoping to"
"Hmmm?..."
"To meet you here!!!"
"Well, I'm glad we did."
