"It's been a while...." The girl whispered out to the only other occupant of the room. A girl near the door of the room just stood there looking blankly at the bed.
"How are you?" The other girl muttered. Her fingers running through her bangs. Silky locks seem as if it was rays of sun itself impended her sight before she shifted it away from her eyes. "I've been terrible without you....."
The girl on the bed looked away and outside the windows to admire the foliage outside. "I have as well....." Her long black hair cascaded down her lithe frame, her hands too were busy with hers. The various hues of the sunset painted her like a work of art. Anyone who was looking at her would've attested to it.
Unfortunately no one was.
The blonde just continued looking at the edges of the bed as she let out an empty chuckle. No.... a sorrowful one. "I get inebriated just to get some shut eye these days." She laughed once more. She gripped her hair in the attempts to let out her frustrations but alas the pain could not be overwhelmed so easily. If it did. She wouldn't be here." Being sober makes me remember the times we had.....and what I lost."
"Lost?...You can't change what has happened. Also, you let me go once, remember?" The girl looked away from the window and back to the blonde's face. Seeing tears welling up in the girl's eyes. She let out a sigh. "Don't do this to yourself. You have to. This time fully."
"I-i can't let go of you. Our times! I was fooling myself. She wasn't you!" Yelled the girl as she slid down on her back against the door. She sniffed. And looked towards the table near the bed. There laid a picture frame. Face down.
The blonde walked towards it and righted it on the oaken furniture. She let a ghost of a smile before she sat on the bed. Ignoring the collected dust laying on the soft linen.
"Taetae....you became such a crybaby." A wistful smile overcame her feature before it was replace with a look of concern " You're being selfish, you know that, don't you? She loves you...y-you have to *breathe*...you have to go back. You aren't suppose to be here."
"I can't do it......I- I'm a terrible person, aren't I?" The blonde gritted her teeth before she let out a little chuckle. " You probably would've outright say it to me, 'Yah, Kim Taeyeon, You jerk!' Ahahahaha"
"I would. Because you would deserved it."
"And I would've deserved it. Fany-ah...I hate it when I forget you. Whenever I spent time with her I do. And-"
"That just means you love her, idiot!"
"I-I love her.....don't I? I'm such an idiot! What do I do now?"
A knock on the door the blonde was leaning on, jolted her to stand. She turned the knob to see a red eyed Jessica.
"Taeng....a-are you okay?" Questioned the girl. She was abit angry but she was also worried about the girl.
"I'm sorry. I was stupid. I had some time to think. And I need to get this off my chest." For some reason, Jessica started to tear up as she said those words and it scared the shorter girl.
"Y-you're *sniffed* gonna break *sniffed* up with me, aren't you?"
"No! No no no...I just never told you something important. And-"
"You're not?" Asked the girl as she tried to stop crying. Try as she may but the waterworks were far from stopping.
"Nope. I-I just wanted to tell you....I love you." Taeyeon was rewarded with a bone-crushing hug by the earlier sobbing girl as soon as she spout those words. The girl behind her looked away as they hugged. She gripped the the dirty blankets of the bed but she found herself unable to touch it. She felt like crying but she was unable to.
Taeyeon then separated from the smiling girl and looked towards the room for the last time before she hooked her arms around Jessica and left the house altogether.
"Hey, Sica?"
"Hmm...."
"How did you know I was there?"
"What did you mean? You sent me text from your phone."
"B-but I-" She tried to think if she had maybe drunkenly texted Jessica but that was impossible. She was drinking alone in the house she once shared with Tiffany before she pathetically went into the room talking to herself. She stopped herself. She remembered placing the phone on the bedroom table when she entered the house. She always did went into that room first when she went there. Who could possibly have unlocked her phone and texted Jessica? No one could.
'I mean, no one have been in that house since fany.... Maybe I was too drunk to remember.'
From the window of the bedroom, a girl looked at the two walking to the car. She stood there looking even as the car drove off. Pondering if maybe that could've been her besides the blonde.
No. She had died for years now. It was time she took her own advice.
"Time to let go, huh?"
