The Flame Torch: Chapter Nine

My name is Alyssa Thomas, and I've lost all of my memories about myself. My friends and I have escape the Games called Capture The Flag but leaving some incredibly great friends behind. I have found out that we were being used for TV amusement by these TV host and who has created the Games of Capture The Flag. Watch out Elizabeth Winter because we're coming for you. We're now trapped in a total new Game. And we have to play because one of us is in infected. And if we don't play one of us would die. Now we're playing the Game called... The Flame Torch.

John had told us to follow him and we all did. He had lead us to a room, that was rusted and smelt. I felt the cold hit me as I grabbed my arms and shivered. I let out an icy breath to see a form of mist.

"You okay Alyssa?" I turned around to face Aris with a worried expression on his face. I frowned, slightly as I nodded. Not wanting to talk to him.

"I'm fine!" I looked up at him with a look. I kept walking until I felt someone grabbed my wrist. I felt the cold hands into my own. I didn't even bother to turn around, since I knew who it is. I took a deep breath, trying to calm down.

"Alyssa, please. I'm truly sorry about the pregnancy joke. I-I... Didn't know what came over me. It was just... you were hanging out with Dylan a lot. And so I thought that you were starting to like him more than me. I'm sorry, and I'm starting to worry about you. Because I love you, and I don't want to lose you." He said in a apologetic tone as tears started to fall from his blue/green eyes. He had a worried face as I turned around to face him. I bit my lip as he let go of my wrist.

"Look... I'm sorry too. I was hanging out with Dylan because he was facing trouble with his own. So I decided to help him. And with TFT (The Flame Torch) decease, it's frustrating me, because we don't know who it is, and one of us could die right now. And I don't want to lose you." I said as I started to feel my own hot tears streaming down my face.

Aris nodded as he walked closer to me and gave me a hug. I hugged him back, instantly as I started to sob onto his shoulder. I felt his hand on my lower part of my neck and his other on my waist. I hugged his torso. I started to feel him playing with my hair.

"I love you, no matter what. Okay... Juliet." I felt him smile as I chuckled at the new nick name.

"I love you too... Romeo." I heard him chuckle as I smiled.

"Come on Lovebirds! You have all night!" I let go of Aris and turned around to face Ki with a teasing face. Emma nudged him as he groaned. "What was that for?" He asked as Emma huffed.

"For ruining the moment, Ki!" She said as Thomas chuckled at the pair. He grabbed Emma by the waist and kissed her on her forehead as they walked off.

"USE PROTECTION! FOR TO NIGHT!" Ki shouted as Thomas shot him a deathly stare. Ki gulped as he nodded and looked down nervously and nervously laughed. He started walking slowly.

Me and Aris shared a glance and laughed it off. I felt his hand slip into mine as we stared walking.

"I know someone that came from the mountains, maybe he can help," John suggest as we nodded. Hannah groaned, loudly. John turned around to face her. She had a disgusted look on her face as she folded her arms. "What?" John asked as Hannah sighed, forcefully.

"You mean that teenage boy that basically lives in that pathetic club of his!" Hannah complained as she rolled her eyes. Colton slapped his forehead.
