The Flame Torch: The Final Chapter

My name is Alyssa Thomas, and I've lost all of my memories about myself. My friends and I have escape the Games called Capture The Flag but leaving some incredibly great friends behind. I have found out that we were being used for TV amusement by these TV host and who has created the Games of Capture The Flag. Watch out Elizabeth Winter because we're coming for you. We now know who was infected and have found The Black Hand's hideout and our friend had got cured. Now we're playing a Game called...The Flame Torch.

"Hello Alyssa..." Winter had said calmly and had a grin on her face. She had walked down the slope of the jet same with Nevax as he held a gun.

I stayed silent as anger washed all over me. But confusion hit my head. How did they find us? Where did they come from? Why are they here? I tried to calm down as hard as I possibly could.

The guards had grabbed my arms and wrapped them behind my back. They had found the rest of The Black Hand and pushed them into the ground.

"How did you find us? What do you want? We finished your pathetic Game Winter! What else do you want? Why can't you just leave us alone?" I asked in a tone. Winter smiled as she walks over to my direction.

"Awe why the foul tone? And actually we couldn't find you...someone contacted us and bailed out all the secrets and told us where you were currently hiding." She says with a smirk. My eyes widen, someone talked? Who? Why? How? I looked up at her as she laughed.

"Don't you know?" I frowned at her as she smirked. She walks away to Nevax who was smirking as well. She placed her hands on her hips. "Is it that hard to guess? And I thought you were smarter than that? But clearly I was wrong." She smiles at me.

It was until I saw a figure in the distance as they walked down. I couldn't see as clear because the figure was far. It was until someones face was right in my own. My eyes widen as I noticed who it was.

"What the hell! Kaya! You're the trader! You're the one that talked? You son of a bitch!" Ki yells at her. The trader was Kaya. But why? Why would she do this? Especially when we known her since Capture The Flag. Kaya laughs, like a laugh that I've never heard before. Her laugh sounded, insane.

"Why Kaya?" Dylan asked her as she walks over towards him. She kneels down before him as she pulls him closer. She hums as she taps her chin.

"Well...why did I do it? Oh yeah! I did it because...of...you! You never noticed me! I felt invisible around you! You only talk to me when you need something! You had stolen my heart! And it make it worse,you date her! Why her? What does she have that I haven't? And like come on...you just met her while I've known you for how long? Why is she the one? How is she better than me? What does she have that I don't?" Kaya snaps. She had pointed over at Grace as she yells at him.

"At least she's not insane like you Kaya! You need help!" Dylan says as Kaya hums at his response.

"Help! Ha! I'm already cured! I think you're the one that needs help. Did you know that the ones you love most...are the ones that are holding you back." She says, she whispers the last sentence in his ear as she kiss him on the lips. Kaya had departed the kiss as she gets up and skips her way over to Winter and Nevax.

"Good job by the way Miss White." Winter says as Kaya smiles widely at her. Winter walks forwards as she walks in my direction once again. I frowned at her.

"So Alyssa...I need you to come with me." She offers as I stayed silent. Why would I go with her? I gave her a dirty look as she nodded. "Silence isn't a answer Alyssa." She says as I kept quiet still. She frowns as she sighs as she gets up. "Fine if you don't come...I'm just gonna have to kill one of your friends." She threatened as one of the guards picked up Josh. My eyes widen in fear as he yells no. I tried to get out of the guards grasp but he just held me tighter.
Winter had gave Kaya a taser.

"So Alyssa what is it going to be? Your friend? Or you coming with me?" She asked me as I stayed silent. She looks over Kaya's direction as she nodded.

Kaya smirks, Josh had squirm under her touch. Kaya then pressed hard against his skin. He screams in torture as he closes his eyes tightly. Electricity was flying out as Josh screams in agony. My heart was beating crazy, as tears were about to fall.

"NO! STOP! JUST STOP!" I yelled as Kaya kept going. She looks like she was having fun.

"That's not the words I was hoping for Alyssa." Winter says in an amusing manor. I was now crying as I watch Josh. He didn't deserve this.

"YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM!" I scream as I watched him screaming still. My heart felt like it was going to break into pieces.

"That's not my problem...that's yours." Winter says. I shook my head as I watched him. His screams were torture to my ears. His eyes were shut tight as tears were dripping fast. Blood was dripping down from where Kaya is tasering him. He was wiggling to try to escape but was failing. My breathing went heavy as I cried. I can't do this. I can't let him die.

"STOP! PLEASE I'LL GO JUST STOP DAMMIT!" I scream as Winter nodded her head signalling Kaya to stop. Kaya had nodded as she pulled the taser away from Josh. Josh had fell to the ground. He groans in a painful state.

I put my head down shamelessly as my hair covered my features. Winter had walked over to me as she kneels down.

"What was that?" She asked me in a whisper. I was sobbing as tears were dripping. My heart was aching as I looked up to face Josh who was in the ground. Steam was flying up away from him as he moans. It was my fault that he got that. He didn't even deserve that. I looked up at Winter with an anger/sad expression.

"I said that I'll go." I said in a harsh tone as Winter smirks.

"Good girl." She says as she gets up. "Let her go." Winter says as the guard let me free. I instantly ran over to Josh with an worried expression. I slide on the ground as I placed my hands on Josh's chest.

"Josh? Josh?" I started to shake him as I heard him moan. His eyes slowly opens as he flutters his eyes open.

"Argh...it's nice too know that you care about me." He says as I smile at him as I hugged him. Tears were falling from my eyes as I was happy that he was alive.

It was until I was being dragged by a guard and leaving Josh's body there.

"No! No no no no no!" I scream as I tried to escape the guards grip. He lifted me up in the air and forced me to walk. I walked up the ramp and seeing all of the guards walking in.

"ALYSSA NO!" I heard Aris scream as I looked at him. He tried to push his way through as some of the guards pushed him back. All I could do was watch him with pity. He struggled to get to me as he finally stopped. He looked at me with tearful eyes as he shook his head. The ramp was closing as I looked at all of my friends. Because I'll never see them again.

"ALYSSA!" And with that the door closed. Leaving me with Winter and the guards. What what was on my mind was why did she want me? Where is she taking me? Will I ever see my friends again? Will I ever see Aris again? Will I ever set foot on the ground again? But now I have on my mind is now...

I am now a prisoner of Elizabeth Winter.

(A:N oh my goodness 😱 I have finally finished it! Well looks like I'm gonna have to start another book. But I can give you one spoiler for it (dun dun dun) Alyssa gets her memories back!!!!! But now the truth will told. And the next book is called THE DEATH SENTENCE so make sure you check that out once I start it.
