When I got to school Becky was outside waiting for me. My sister walked into the school while I hung back to talk to Becky.

"Hey, Avery!" She yelled as she gave me a hug.

  "Hey. How was your summer?"

"It was fantastic! I went to Disney World! It was so much fun. Oh and then my dad took me horseback riding and then we went to an archery range. It was great! How was yours?"

  "Average."

"Sorry, Avery. But hey! We're high schoolers now! Eeeeeh!"

"Haha, yeah. Come on we're going to be late."

We walked inside the school. We both came here a week before school started so we already knew where all of our classes were. First period, band. That's right my sister has cheerleading and I'm in the marching band. Wow, no wonder know one knows who I am. Becky plays the flute and I play the clarinet. I wanted to be a drummer but my mom said no. Well it was more like...

"They're to loud! And no one in the drum section listens. They can make or break the band and you are not going to be responsible for breaking it. Love you!"

Love you too mom. I think the clarinet is a better choice for me anyway. It suits me. After band class is over I go to art. Today we basically did a personalized name tag. So our teacher Mr. Wiggs knew what we liked to do, and also so he could remember our names faster. My name tag had music notes, paintbrushes, and those drama masks. You know the ones with the happy face and sad face. I'm really in to drama. Well theater.
After art was over I was off to English. Again we just did a get to know you activity to help the teacher get to know us. It was like that for Algebra 1 and Spanish too. Then I got to chorus class. The only class that Becky isn't in with me. At first I was excited but then as that thought dawned on me I got nervous. I'm not going to know anyone. Great...
