It's finally Monday! I've been stressing out about the auditions all week! Now it's finally time to see if I got in! I meet Becky by the front and then we go look at the list together.
"I'm so nervous!" I said.
"You have nothing to be nervous about! I'm sure you got in!" She replied.
"And what if I did? Then what song would I sing for the talent show?"
"I don't know....but I'll help you think of something. Let's check the list first though."
We ran to the theater, where the list was posted on the door. A lot of people were crowded around it so it took us forever to get to the front. Of course the first name I saw was none other than my sister Amanda. I'm not surprised that she made it. Then of course there was Alexis that made it, doing her baton twirling. And many others whom I didn't know. And at the bottom of the list...there was my name! I made it in! My sister ran up behind me and gave me a hug.
"I told you, you would make it, little sis!" She yelled.
I was so excited I could barely breathe! Now here comes the hard part...what song do I sing!?
