As I walk out of class I see the audition sheet staring right at me. Well not staring because, you know, paper can't do that...oh you know what I mean! I decided to just go for it. I grabbed a pen and wrote my name. There...it's done...what did I just do!? I hate performing in front of people! What if they laugh at me!? I'm dead! I know I'm a good singer...everyone has told me, but I'm not fantastic! I'm not special...plus my sister's name was already on the list...right before mine. She's probably going to do that dance that I see her working on sometimes. I don't stand a chance. But I have to at least try. Auditions are in three days...I'll find a song to sing, rehearse it, and I'll knock the judges socks off! I hope...
