Sunday passed by quickly and soon enough, Monday came around.

Like every other day in our high school lives, I got out of bed and dragged myself to my sister's bedroom. I was still sleepy due to sleeping late last night.

"Hey twin, wake up.", I said, shaking her. She can't wake up even if she had an alarm clock. Ever. It seems her ears tune out the sound of her alarm clock. That's why I'm supposed to wake her up every morning. She sat up in bed and looked at her clock. It was pretty early and we didn't have to hurry to get to school.

When I noticed that she was fully awake and she entered her bathroom, I went back to my room to shower and get ready.

I made my way to my walk-in closet and chose a simple black top and black skinny jeans. Yes. I feel like mourning today. I hate mondays. I put up my wavy blond hair into a ponytail like I did everyday. My sister preferred letting down her waves loose and that's how people recognize us at school. Me with a ponytail and Ria with her waves down her shoulders. I slipped on my converse and made my way downstairs to eat breakfast.

When I got downstairs, Dad was cooking eggs and bacon. Yum. Ria was sitting on the counter, waiting for the food. "Morning!", I said with a smile. Ria smiled and nodded. Dad turned around and said "Morning kid. Eat up."

Ria and I finished our food and kissed our Dad goodbye. I got in my car and Ria got in the passenger seat. I looked at her and noticed she wore a shirt with a low neckline, showing a bit of cleavage and really short shorts. She also had on killer heels. "What are you wearing?", I asked her a bit in disgust. I was pretty used to her outfits but she still doesn't fail to surprise me everyday.

"Nothing.", she smiled. "Exactly.", I said, smirking at her. I heard a "shut up" and fter that, we were quiet and I just enjoyed the last minutes of being with her. As soon as we entered the school gates, she fixed her hair and looked in the mirror to check if she looked okay.

When I turned off the engine, she immediately got out of the car gracefully, leaving me behind, going straight to her friends. I saw her wrap her arms around some guy and kiss him. It was too far for me to recognize the guy but I really didn't care. I didn't bother to catch up with her.

I locked the car and made my way inside the school to get to my locker. Trevor, my guy bestfriend, was leaning on my locker, wearing a black v-neck shirt and black pants with his hair was so messed up.

I shoved him and smiled. We have matching outfits. All black. I opened my locker to get my things and put them inside my bag. "Hey Trev. How's your weekend?", I asked. He was my only real friend and he wasn't a part of the popular group. I couldn't consider the people in the popular crowd my friends. They just aren't. I don't trust them.

Trev and I have been friends since freshman year and I loved him. As a friend. Trevor laughed, pulling me out of my thoughts. I seemed to be spacing out more since the dream.

I looked at him and said, "Sorry, what did you say?". He chuckled and said "Nothing. Let's go to class.". I closed my locker and headed of to our Math class.

I took a seat in the back and as usual, Trev sat beside me. We had all our classes together. Every single one. I didn't know why. But God was sure on our side.

I put out my notebook and copied the solutions written on the board. I knew the lesson since last year and I just felt like I needed to copy the solutions anyway. Nerd.

I felt Trev staring at me and I looked at him. "Something's off about you today. I can't quite point it out though. You're not your usual bubbly self. Is something wrong?", he asked. "Nope.", I said, popping the p.

He really knew me like the back of his hand and I love him for that. Our next classes flew by fast, and soon enough it was lunch.

Trev and I were standing in line when Ria approached me. "Come sit with us, today?", she asked, referring to the jocks' and cheerleaders' table. I wondered what's up and I'm sure when we are seated, she'll start to ignore me.

I looked at Trev and he nodded. "Sure. But can Trev join us?", I asked her. "Of course. He's always welcome.", she said, winking at Trev. Trev chuckled and I told Ria off for flirting with my best friend. I wonder though what put her in the mood to talk to me in school.

The three of us made our way to the said table. The jocks and cheerleaders stared at us for a second. Some smiled and looked away. Today is a weird day.

We took our seats and Martin, the head jock, smirked and winked at me. I wanted to vomit then and there. He was such a man whore. He and Ria have a thing. If not for that, I would've bashed him in the head long ago.

I stil don't see how Ria likes him. But I swear, Ria is still "pure". At least I think so. She says she haven't gone farther than making out with her boys.

Trev and I were eating quietly when I heard Martin excuse himself. I looked at him his brown hair messed up and his light brown eyes were staring at me. When he reached me, he leaned down and whispered in my ear, "I want you.". I froze and Trev froze beside me. He clearly heard what Martin said. I was unable to say anything in shock and Martin walked away, smirking.

Trev excused us and we stood up from the table. He grabbed my bag and dragged me away from the lunch room.

Once we were outside, his blue-green eyes stared at me with concern and asked me, "Are you okay?". "I guess?", I said it as more of a question.

I can't believe what Martin just said. He was crazy. "Don't worry Vi. I'll stop him if he tries anything with you. Will you tell Ria?", he asked. "I don't know. I'm not sure. Thanks Trev.", I hugged him and then we were off to our last 3 classes.

The rest of the day passed by and I was in a daze. Before I knew it, we were dismissed and Trev was walking me to my car. We leaned on my car waiting for my sister. "You coming over?", I asked. He nodded. I forgot to mention he practically lives next door to us.

He said he didn't bring his car and walked to school today so he was riding with us. When Ria came, she slid into the passenger seat and Trev climbed in the backseat. The whole ride was silent and I noticed Ria smiling, looking at the mirror, trying to look at Trev.

I smacked her leg and said, "What did I tell you? Stop flirting with my best friend!". They both chuckled at the same time.

When we got home, Dad wasn't around. So i guess he was in the resto. Ria went off to her room and came back down with her clothes changed. She went out the door without a word. I guess she was paying Martin a visit.

Martin. I shuddered. I almost forgot about him. I was leaning on the kitchen counter and Trev took my face in his hands. "Are you sure you're okay?", he asked me for the hundredth time since after lunch time.

"I'm fine Trev. Don't worry.", I assured him. I took his hands and pulled them out of my face. "Do you want to go for a swim?", I asked him, smiling. "I don't have clothes to change into after. I don't want to just go next door and grab clothes.", he said. "You're so lazy, you know that?", I said. Not bothering to wait for his answer, I went upstairs to my room and left him downstairs.
