Chapter eight ~ happiness at last?

*Beau's point of view*

I couldn't stick around and watch them kiss. I decided I'd go back to the others and pretend like I hadn't seen anything. It hurt to much to think about. I wiped the tears from my face before getting a drink from the fridge and going back inside to the others.

"Where did you get to?" Luke asked.

"Just went to get a drink" and with that I plonked myself back down on the couch next to James. About two minutes later Rebecca and Daniel came back into the room, and there was that pain in my chest again. I began to well up, and my eyes began to water. Jai noticed and sent me a sympathetic understanding smile. He knew I liked her, and he must of guessed what happened when they walked in. Luckily it was getting quite late, so I used the excuse I was tired so I could just be alone in my room. I slammed my door shut, and for the first time ever, cried. For a good 10 minutes I just lay there sobbing into my pillow. After about 15 minutes I heard my door slowly open and the bottom of my bed sink a little, letting me know that someone else was sitting down. I didn't bother looking to see who it was though.

*Jai's Point of view*

As Daniel and Rebecca walked in, I knew something was up. I didn't believe Beau when he said he was just getting a drink. I looked over at him to he his reaction, and he gave me all the answers I needed. His eyes were glossy and he stiffened in his seat. A few moments later, he said he was tired but I didn't believe that for one minute. So after about 15 minutes I went up to see how he was. As I opened the door and sat on the end of the bed I heard his muffled cries. Beau never cries. It hurts me to see my big brother broken. There was this long pause of silence.

"You know, it will get better" as soon as I said that he sat up. His face was red, puffy and tear stained. In a croaked whisper he replied

"Oh really? How did you work that one out?"

" When life gets hard, you fight harder. If you two are meant to be, this shouldn't come between it. There not official, it was a kiss. Don't give up fighting. Show her your the one, that you will never give up on her, don't wait for fait, make it happen yourself." He was quite for a moment. He began to move but didn't say anything. Before I knew it he brought me into a bone crushing hug.

"Thank you"

"What for?"

"I don't say it enough but I love you bro!"

"Love you two! Now go get your girl!"

*Rebecca's point of view*

Once Beau and Jai went upstairs, Daniel whispered for me to join him outside. After about a minute I left to see what he had to say.

"That kiss was something else. I've fancied you for a while now, but never done anything about it because James meant to much to me. But after that kiss I realised I didn't care, I'd never speak to him again if it means I can hold you in my arms and call you mine. I'm not going to give up on you and I will always protect you, so what do you say? Do you want to give us a go?" Those words brought a tear to my eye. But all that come to mind was when Beau gave me a similar speech. But after the kiss, and in the spear of the moment, I agreed. So I guess now you can call me Daniels girlfriend!

*Daniels point of view*

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YESSSSSS! She's finally mine! I could sing from the rooftops! I want to announce it to everyone!!

*Beau's point of view*

I came back down stairs to see Rebecca and Daniel walking back into the room again... Wow i felt like this had happened before. But this times it was different, they were holding each others hands. My blood began to boil. Then Daniel began to speak.

"Listen up guys, I'd like to introduce you to my new girlfriend Rebecca Yammouni! WHAT?!?! Wow, two blows in less than an hour. But this time I didn't feel like crying, the anger was just to over powering!
