Mere POV

'Friday After School'

I walked out of the school and sighed. Longest week of my life!

I stood there and waited for Gale when my friends made their way towards me. "Hey, Mere!" Fred said.

"Hi" I mumbled.

"What you up to?" Lisa asked.

"Free tonight?" John asked. His arm around Lisa's shoulder.

I nodded. "Yeah why?".

"How about we go to that new amusement park?" Hilary asked.

"We're all going. You can take... Gale" Tristy added wiggling her eybrows.

I rolled my eyes. "I don't know..."

"Come on, Mels!" Fred said. "Take a free night! Have fun! We're young!".

I let out a giggle and nodded. "Ok. I'll go".

"Be ready at seven!" Fred said. "We're picking you up. Don't forget Gale!" he said as they ran away surly to ask someone else.

I sighed. A hand drapped over my shoulder and I knew it was Gale. I turned to him. It was good, I guess.

My revenge was working. Almost everytime, Cameron sees Gale kissing me, he has a pained look in his eyes. But he deserves it, doesn't he? I mean, he cheated? With my best friend? I don't know if to believe him when he said they drugged him. I mean, he isn't drugged here at school. When me makes out with all those girls. If he wants to get my attention like that, it isn't working. At all.

Gale gave me a peck then smiled at me. "Waiting for someone?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes and started walking towards his car. "We're going out tonight" I said as we climbed in. "Be ready and in my house at seven. Ok?".

"Ugh... sure" he said as he drove away. "Where?".

"Somewhere" I said.

"How am I supposed to dress if I don't know?" he asked.

I smiled. "Don't dress fancy".

Cameron POV

I clenched my jaw as they pulled away. F&@%ing idiot. Stealing my girl.

"Hey, Cameron!" Fred said as they all ran around me.

I frowned. "Yeah?".

"Amusement park. Today" Hilary giggled.

"Who's going?" I asked nodding.

"Us. A few other people. And... Mere" my head snapped to Fred. "Is that ok?" he asked.

I nodded. "Yeah Sure".

"Be ready at seven!" they said running away.

A smile tugged at my lips. Mere's going, huh? That was good. I smirked. "I wouldn't miss this in a thousand years" I said to myself.

Mere POV

We sat on the porch steps waiting.

"Are they coming?" Gale asked.

I nodded. "Here they come" I said.

The same van we used to use came around the corner. Gale and I stood up and ran towards it as the door opened. Laughing and giggles came from inside. "Mere, get in here! We have one more stop!" Fred said from the drivers seat. Gale and I squished in on the back. I smiled. "Whoo!" Fred said as he hauled away.

I should've known, but I didn't.

I should've seen, but I didn't.

I should've done something, but I didn't.

The van stopped

The doors opened.

And Cameron climbed in.
