Mere POV

I sat there quietly. Gale beside me- not talking. I mean, CAMERON was here. What was I supposed to do?

Act as if nothing happened?

Ignore him?

Talk to him?

Yell?

No. I wouldn't. I couldn't. That was the thing. I couldn't. I still loved him. As much as it hurts me. But i'm starting to have feelings for Gale, too.

I mean, can you love two men at the same time? The same way?

I can. And I was. This was just so messed up. I knew I had to let Gale go before things got too serious. But I didn't want to. Is that being selfish? Wanting two men?

"So... Mere" Fred said. "We're all gertting in this mew ride. You and Gale are going too".

"W... Which one?" I stuttered.

"You'll see" he said calmly.

I gulped feeling Cameron's eyes on me. "Ok" I whispered even though I couldn't be heard over the music and laughs.

This was going to be a long night...

As soon as Fred stopped the car, I jumped out. I stretched and stood waiting for everyone to get out. Gale came to my side and made a point to Cameron by wrapping his arm around my waist.

I looked at Fred. "Mere, I hope you brought money..." he said scratching the bck of his head.

"No one brought money?" I asked. They gathered in a cemi-circle. They shook their heads. "I guess i'll buy them" I sighed.

I ended up buying fifteen tickets. Gale put some money too seeing that the tickets costed twenty.

When we got in, Fred stopped us. "Meet in an hour here. Save two tickets for the ride. And go crazy!" he yelled running into the crowd.

Then, we spread out. Gale grabbed my hand and he led me to a game stand.

Gale had to grab a water gun and shoot five red dots while they moved around. He shot the red dots three times and he won a prize. He grabbed a puffy banana and gave it to me. "Elephants are fat" he said.

I laughed. "Thank you. I love bananas. A girl loves when a guy gives them a banana".

"Yeah well... you're my girl" he said and grabbed my hand. My smile faded as he led to me another stand.

His... girl?

I've felt eyes on me. And I think I know who it is.

Cameron.

I haven't seen him, but i'm sure it's him. I think i've gone too far in my revenge. I mean, I think it's been forgotten! Gale called me his girl when he knew this was fake! He knows we are nothing! Except for a fake couple at our school!

I don't want to hurt him. I don't want him to fall for me. I don't want anyone. I don't want to be with anyone. Although I have feelings for him- and Cameron- I want nothing with them. I have this ache in my heart. I want them, but I don't. I love them, but I don't. I want to be hugged by them, by I don't.

This is so wrong.

I want to forget about all of this and move on, but I can't.

Yes, Gale is nice. Loving. Caring. True. A gentlemen. And trustful.

BUT...

Cameron is... passionate. Wild. Crazy. Fun.

What do I want?

What would you choose?

I can't have both...

"Mere, hurry up!" Fred called.

I looked at them and ran to them. We were going to this 'New Ride'. Gale and I have been to all of them. Most of them. All the while- Cameron's eyes were on me. I felt them.

As I looked up at the ride, I froze. "You have to be kidding me" I gasped.

"Nope!" John said.

"Don't be a wuss!" Hilary giggled. She batted her eyelashes at Cameron.

His eyes were... on me.

"We're going" Fred said. "And you are too".

"But-"

"No buts!" Lisa giggled.

"And we're going all together!" a guy named Pete said.

"Mere is going too!" Sam yelled.

"Yeah!"

"You don't have to" Gale whispered in.my ear as he bent down.

"I... will" I said. "I am getting on it".

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yeah" I said. "Let's go!".

The ride had three seats on each side. Not all of us got to go. Fred, Hilary, John, Pete, Cameron, Gale, Me, and some other guys went.

Gale grabbed my hand and led me to the side. The ride would go up slowly, then drop fastly. Then back up and back down. It was exremely high.

The guys controlling the game sat us down and tied us up. I heard others being seated on the other side. I sat on the middle with Gale on my left. The seat on my right emty.

"It's full!" someone said.

"One more seat!" the guy said. He stopped on our side. "Right here, kid".

A familiar voice made me freeze. A very familiar voice...

"Yes, sir" Cameron said.

I gulped and looked ahead as I felt him being strapped next to me. I kept my hands on my seat to keep as least contact I could. I let out a shaky breath and looked at the gathering crowd.

"Whoo!!" Fred's voice yelled from behind.

"We're not even moving, dumbass!" Pete's voice yelled.

"I am!" Fred yelled. "Whooo!!!".

"Ready!?" a guy yelled.

"Yeah!!!" everyone screamed.

My heart sped up and I took in a breath. Without warning, the ride shot up. I let out a scream along with the girls and the guys a 'whoo!'. My hair flew around as we stopped at the top. "Holy s%@!" I yelled as I moved back in my seat.

I saw Gale's hand move so it was facing up. Cameron's did the same. I would NOT hold either of them...

The ride sent us back down then back up. On the last up, there was sound of electricity on the bottom. Our ride stopped at the top and the flashing lights went off. We all went silent as we looked down.

The guys had jumped away from the controls as a fire covered them.

We were stuck.

I was stuck.

With Gale.

And Cameron...
