Hey guys, so you know Pepper gets a serum injected into her in Iron Man three, well that's gonna happen to Nat but I'm changing the story up a little, and I'm changing the serum that is used on her!! Hope you enjoy the story!!!
Tony's Point of View.
I was speeding down the highway, looking through the file from Ms Davis. Unfortunately I wasn't getting anywhere close to finding this guy and I was growing more worried about Nat. Sighing, I threw the papers down onto the passengers seat before rubbing my face with my hand. Glancing down at the paper again, something caught my eye.
'AIM'
I grabbed the piece of paper, looking down at the the small print on the top right hand corner. Turning t a few time, I cussed at myself, remembering the man from all those years ago. I sighed and put my foot down on the gas, speeding off down the road. I then pulled my phone out and called Rhodey.
"Hello?" His voice sounded, after a few rings.
"You ever have a chick straddling you and you look up and suddenly she's glowing from the inside out, kind of a bright orange?" I asked, without saying 'hi' back.
"Yeah, I've had that, who is this?" Rhodes asked.
"It's me, pal." I told him, looking through the files again. "Now, last time I went missing, if I remember correctly, you came looking for me. What are you doing?" I questioned.
"A little knock-and-talk, making friends in Pakistan." Rhodey explained. "What are you doing?" He retorted.
"Your redesign, your big rebrand, that was AIM, right?" I asked, ignoring his questioned.
"Yeah." Rhodes replied. I scrunched up the paper and threw it to the floor before grasping the steering wheel.
"I'm gonna find a heavy-duty comm sat right now, I need your login." I said, speeding up.
"It's the same as it's always been, WarMachine68." He stated.
"And password, please." I pushed.
"Well, look, I gotta change it every time you hack in, Tony." He scolded.
"It's not the '80s, nobody says "hack" any more. Give me your login." I ordered, Rhodey sighed before speaking.
"'WAR MACHINE ROX' with an "X," all caps." He mumbled. I snorted, before laughing out loud, unable to contain myself. "Yeah, okay." Rhodey huffed.
"That is so much better than Iron Patriot." I told him, as my laughter died down. I then abruptly turned the car round and headed back to the building I'd passed not long before.
"Whatever, look I gotta go, talk to you later." Rhodes told me before hanging up.
............................................................
Once I arrived at the building, I parked up with all the other cars before grabbing the cowboy hat I took off the kid and placing it on my head; pulling it down so it covered most of my face. I grabbed a pile of wire before exiting my car and heading over to a news van. I glanced round at the crowd of people before pulling open the door a climbing inside. I opened up the laptop that was in there before muting the show on the small TVs. Plugging in a few cables, I glanced back at the door once more before sitting down in front of the laptop.
"That ain't gonna cut it." I mumbled when a small 'slow connection' notification popped up. Suddenly the van door opened, causing my eyes to wided, and for me to stop what I was doing.
"Excuse me, sir. I don't know who..." The guy cut himself off as I swivelled round in the char and looked at him.
"Ssh..." I hushed him, placing my finger on my lips. The guys gasped, recognising me and I smiled.
"Mom, I need to call you back, something magical is happening." The guy squealed down the phone before hanging up.
"Ssh." I hushed again as he began to breath heavily.
"Tony Stark is in my van." He exclaimed, taking off his glasses.
"Keep it down." I warned.
"Tony Stark is in my van!" He fan-girled, or boyed.
"No, he's not." I pushed.
"I knew you were still alive!" The guy called.
"Come on in and close the door." I ordered him. The guy climbed in and quickly shut the door, his smile was wide and slightly creepy. I pressed my finger to my lips as he began to freak out.
"Wow, can I just say, sir? I am your biggest fan." He told me, still smiling.
"Okay. First, is this your van, is anyone else gonna come in?" I questioned, ignoring his previous comment.
"No, no, no. It's just us." The guy told me.
"What's your name?" I then asked, standing up.
"Gary." He replied. I shook his hand, and his placed his other on top of mine.
"Right there's fine." I mumbled with a forced smile.
"Okay." Gary breathed out, as I let go of his hand.
"I get a lot of this, it's okay." I told him.
"Oh, good. Can I just say?" Gary questioned.
"What do you... Yeah." I sighed.
"I don't know if you can tell, but I have like, patterned my whole look after you." He explained pulling off his hat and showing me his hair. "My hair's a little...it's not right."
"It's fine." I told him.
"Because there's no product in it." Gary finished.
"Right."
"I don't wanna make things awkward for you.." Gary trailed.
"You're not." I lied.
"But I do have to show you...boom!" He yelled, pulling up his sleeve and revealling at tattoo of what I assumed was me but looked nothing like me.
"A Hispanic Scott Baio?" I mused. "Oh, I'm sorry. Is that me?" I asked, feigning shock.
"Yeah. It's uh... I mean, I had them do it off a doll that I made, so it's not like it's off a picture. So it's a little bit..." Before he could finish, I grabbed both his arms, shutting him up.
"Gary, listen to me, okay? I don't wanna clip your wings here, we're both a little over-excited. I got an issue. I'm chasing bad guys, trying to grapple with something from some hard-crypt data files. I don't have enough juice. I need you to jump on the roof, right? Recalibrate the ISDNs, pump it up by about forty percent." I explained to him slowly. Gary nodded.
"Got it." He mumbled.
"Right, it's a mission." I prompted.
"Yeah." Gary smirked.
"Tony needs Gary." I told him, causing him to smile widely.
"And Gary needs To..."
"Be quiet about it." I interrupted. Gary nodded. "Go."I ordered. He scrambled out of the van befroe the sound of clunking and banging sounded, signalling he'd climbed onto the roof. I sat back down beside the laptop, before finding and logging onto AIM's server once the signal was boosted. On the sever, I found various pieces of footage from whatever experiment they had going on at AIM. One video had Chad Davis in and the other had the girl that attacked me at the bar. Both of them had injuries and both videos had Aldrich Killian in them.
The final video was one of them injecting the people with the serum that they had made. I watching in shock as the girl from the bar's arm grew back, but it was glowing bright red. Suddenly one of the guys reacted badly to serum and began to scream out causing Aldrich to evacuate the room. The guy must have overheated before exploding.
"A bomb is not a bomb when it's a misfire." I mumbled. "This stuff doesn't always work, right, pal? It's faulty, but you found a buyer, didn't you? Sold it to the Mandarin. Got you." I smirked.
