recap:
Millie:
Well what do you mean then, Horan?Niall:
Millie, the boys and I are staying at the Carston too.
----------------------
I had to read Niall's text 3 times before I could register what he was saying. I can feel my heart beat quicken just at the thought of spending the whole summer with one direction ways enough to make my jump up and squeal. Ava raised an eyebrow at me."What's up, buttercup?" Ava giggles as she watches me do a little happy-dance in the middle of the hotel lobby. I stop dancing and have to catch my breath before I can talk again.
"So, y'know how we sat with one direction on the plane?" I ask, earning an expression that looks a lot like 'how could I forget?!' "Well, Niall may have kinda, possibly given me his number?" It came out more like a question than a statement. It still caused Ava's mouth to drop open. "Wait he gave y-" she began to question when I interrupted her.
"Wait wait wait, that's not even the best part," I smile, glancing down at my friend who is now sitting on the edge of the sofa with the most anxious expression on her face. I chuckled at the sight of her.
I took a deep breath, "Ava, the boys are staying at this hotel. THIS HOTEL!" Ava immediately shot out from her seat and threw her arms around my shoulders. She stood there for a minute, completely stunned. I had to shake her back to life before she began whispering "Oh my God," repeatedly.
Gradually the whispers turned into pretty loud shouts, so I had to clamp my hand over her mouth. "Shut up, will you?" I laughed, "those business guys are giving us the evils." I glanced at two middle-aged men sitting on a sofa near us, sipping their coffees in distaste.
After another few minutes of hushed squealing and daydreaming about spending the whole summer with the boys, my phone buzzed.
Niall:
Hey Millie, where'd you go?Shit. He probably knows that I just had a mini panic attack and squealing fit with my best friend. I had to think fast.
Millie:
Oh I was just in the bathroom.'Dammit, Millie, why would you say that' I said in my head, mentally face palming at my stupidity. He probably thinks I'm some freak.
Niall:
Oh, ok.''MILLIE?! Why are you so insanely, horrendously, extremely, horribly STUPID sometimes?' I screamed at myself. But just in my head. I promise I'm not that stupid.
Niall:
Hey, since you girls have to wait for your room to be cleaned, why don't you girls come hang with us for a bit? I know Harry's dying to see Ava ;)My heart almost stopped when I read the text. Ava saw me looking shocked and glanced at my phone. Her mouth dropped open almost twice as wide as mine.
"Harry's dying to see me? ME?" Ava yells, a very puzzled yet excited look on her face. She motions back to my phone, indicating that I should probably reply to Niall's text. With shaky hands, I start typing.
Millie:
That'd be great! Let me just ask my aunt and uncle. What's your room number?Did that sound to pushy? Should I have waited for him to tell me their room number? I don't want to scare him off I just really wanna hang with the boys, y'know? I means they're one direction. ONE DIRECTION!
