Millie's POV

"Millie, wake up!" Ava whispers harshly in my ear, jolting me out of my sleep. She nods her head towards the clock on the bedside table to my left. 9:26.
I groggily climb out of bed, rubbing my eyes, and stumbling my way to the bathroom. I still can't get over how fancy this place is. We have two rooms connected by a door. One bedroom is Ava and I's, and the other room belongs to my aunt and uncle. Each room has a huge king sized bed to share, a glass coffee table stacked with magazines the hotel provided, a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub the size of a jacuzzi, and wide double doors completely made of glass, revealing a small balcony, then revealing the wide turquoise ocean.
As I see my reflection in the mirror, I cringe because I look pretty much disgusting. My hair is all over the place, and my eyes are red from rubbing them. I lean in closer in the mirror to discover a very large drool stain on the side of my face. Cute.
I splash my face with water, use the toilet, brush my hair, throw one a colorful beach dress, brush my teeth, and apply some waterproof mascara and some concealer, and leave the bathroom to find Ava sitting on the bed, laughing at her phone.
"What are you laughing at?" I say, peeking over her shoulder, trying to get a look at the screen. She turns her phone away, so I can't see it. Her eyes flash with embarrassment when she realises it's only me. She shows me the screen. The first thing I notice is the person she's texting. The name reads 'Harry 💜😍'. I laugh at the emojis.
"Aw, he gave you his number!" I squeal, holding my hand out for her to high five, which she does.
"I know! He was just telling me a really bad joke. That's why I was laughing."
I tell her that she should get dressed quickly, cause I was really hungry. On the way here from the airport I was googling facts about this hotel. I read they had a huge, all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, with chocolate muffins and donuts, and I was extremely excited to go check that out.
A couple minutes later, Ava appeared wearing a peach crop top and some denim shorts. Her hair was thrown back into a high pony tail, and her eyes were brimmed with some eyeliner and mascara. I smile and her, and walk over towards our room door, about to leave to go get breakfast, when I remember my aunt and uncle.
"We should probably leave them a note telling them that we've gone." I say, and Ava nods her head in agreement.
I rip out a mostly white page from one of the hotels magazines, and find a pen laying on the coffee table. I quickly scribble a few words explaining that we were hungry and wanted some breakfast to eat. I fold the note and carefully slide it under their bedroom door, trying not to wake them up. I grab Ava's arm and we head into the elevator.
We arrive at the buffet, and it seems even bigger than the pictures online made it look. Ava and I excitedly each grab a plate and fill it with food. I got a blueberry muffin, some orange juice, one of those little donuts, and a small yogurt pots with some granola on top. Ava got toast with baked beans poured on it, along with water, and a small donut too.
We wonder around the dining area, trying to find a table that wasn't being used by any of the families and this very crowded resort. My eyes skim some familiar looking faces. Luckily none of them looked back at me. I quickly turned away, my face heating up. I look gross right now. Oh god, Ni - I mean the boys - are gonna think I'm a slob. I frantically pull Ava away, but it's to late. She's spotted them too.
Being the extremely confident and beautiful girl she is, she has no problem with them seeing her first thing in the morning, she grabs my hand and pulls me over to their table, hollering their names across the room. My face is burning with embarrassment, but when I see Niall smiling at me, I kind of forget how embarrassed I am, and I smile back.
"Hey guys," I say, grinning at them, "got any extra room at your table?" I ask.
Niall gets up and pulls two chairs from an empty table near them, and places them under the table they're sitting at. I thank him, and take a seat.
"You girls sleep ok?" Liam asks, smiling widely at Ava and I. We nod in response and start eating the delicious food. I notice that Niall has two full plates of food in front of him, and I giggle. He fakes an offended look, then laughs along with me. We eat together, chatting away, and I realise how strange this is. We met these boys yesterday, but it feels so natural to talk to them. Let alone they are one of the biggest boy bands on the planet! It's only then that I notice girls sitting at other tables, pointing and smiling and giggling at the sight of the boys. One of them waves at me, and I wave back. When I turn back to the table, Niall grins and me. I smile.
When we've almost finished our food, Louis asks, "Are you girls gonna come to the beach today? Our boss managed to find a really nice private beach not too far from here. It would be way less crowded and I think they might have a barbecue there!" Ava and I's eyes light up with excitement. I think about how much fun it would be to spend the entire day at a private beach with the boys. Ava nods.
"That sounds so fun! We'd love to come, I just need to double check with my aunt and uncle to make sure they don't mind."
All the boys cheer and we laugh at them. Ava rolls her eyes and I notice Niall and Harry looking especially happy at our acceptance of Louis offer. He looks at me and smiles, filling my stomach with unwanted butterflies. We say our goodbyes and head up to our separate rooms. Today's going to be a good day.
