CHAPTER THREE | SHANIECE THE GENERAL MANAGER
"Please welcome at this time, The general manager of Raw, Shaniece McMahon." Renee Young said.
I walked up to Renee to film my backstage segment for Raw tonight.
"Hello, Renee," I said.
"Shaniece, what are your plans for Raw? Why did you accept the position as general manager of Raw?" Renee asked.
"As some of you probably know, last night my father, Vince McMahon, made me the new general manager of Raw because I'm someone he believes that the WWE universe can trust and have complete faith in; I'm the youngest McMahon which means I can and will bring something new and fresh. This is just the beginning of a new era and the beginning of the next generation. That's why I took the position." I said, walking away from Renee and the camera.
"Shay, that was great," Steph said, hugging me.
"Oh, thanks. I was so nervous I thought I was going to botch my words." I said, chuckling.
"You a McMahon nervous? That should not be in your vocabulary." She said.
I laughed.
"Let's go find Shane so you can tell him what he is doing tonight." She said, pulling me down the long hallway.
~~~~~~
"Why is Shane in Brock Lesnar's locker room?" I asked Stephanie.
"Their kids hang out together, so I guess that makes them friends," Stephanie said, knocking on the door.
I stared at Brock Lesnar's locker room door for what seemed like an eternity. I'm about to meet the man that breaks my heart ages ago.
"Are you scared?" Stephanie asked me.
"You do know I have other things to do. I can't be a full-time general manager, so I'm making Shane assistant General manager." I said.
"Oh yeah, I know," Stephanie said.
"Okay, can we go in now?" I asked.
"Well, let's find out," she said, opening the door.
We walked in, pausing Shane and Brock's conversation and making them look at us.
"Brock, how's it going? Shane, we have good news for you," Stephanie said, going toward the large man sitting next to Shane on the couch.
"Just okay," Brock said.
"What's the good news?" Shane asked.
"Well, we just wanted to let you know that you're the new assistant general manager," Stephanie said.
"I'm sure when I'm not here that you will be on the same page and will do good on running the show," I said.
"We'll leave you two reminiscent of the good old days with each other, bye," Stephanie said, leaving with Shane quickly.
"Bye, man," Shane said to Brock.
"Good luck, " Stephanie said to me.
Please tell me Stephanie didn't set this up.
I'm going to kill Stephanie when I see her.
First, I have to get out of this damn room.
"Well, it was nice to see you again, Brock," I said, about to leave the room.
"Come on, Shaniece, sit down so we can catch up," Brock said.
"No thanks, I have a lot of things to do," I said.
"Come on; I want to know what you have been up to besides becoming general manager of Raw." He said.
"My life isn't exciting like yours," I said.
"That's not true. You're not divorced and have joint custody of your kids that you barely see." He said.
"Well, I'm a single mother, so," I said.
"I thought you were still with that Mason guy," he said.
"No, he bailed as soon as he found out I was pregnant with Kassandra," I said.
"He didn't deserve you or your kids. He's not a man." He said.
"I know," I said.
