CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO | THE DATE

✘Two weeks later✘

"There's my beautiful fiancée." Brock smiled, holding his arms open to her.

Shaniece smiled. She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly as he did the same with her. "How are you?" Shaniece asked, pulling back from their hug.

"Much better now that you're here," Brock replied.

Shaniece smiled, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. "Is there any place you need to be?" She asked.

"Nope. I got a little while. I was headed to catering for some food." Brock answered.

"Then let's go that way. I'm hungry myself." She said.

Brock smiled. He grabbed hold of her hand. He gave her a quick kiss, and they walked to catering.

Catering was abuzz with the NXT and WWE Superstars, who were there for a superstar shakeup. Brock and Shaniece went through the long table full of food, taking what they wanted. They both grabbed a drink and then looked at each other.

"You two better come over, Shaniece," Nicole announced.

Shaniece smiled. Nicole sat with John, Nattie, Mercedes, Colby, Trinity, Jon (Jimmy), Jon (Dean), Renee, Maryse, Mike, Cj, Dwayne, Kevin and Kevin's wife and kids, and others.

Shaniece looked at Brock. He smiled. "We better obey, or we might be added to the list of KO," Brock said.

Shaniece laughed. She and Brock walked over to the table. They took their seats next to each other.

Shaniece and Brock ate their food while also chatting with their friends. It was everyone talking about what was going on for them on the main roster. Plus, their personal lives.

"Not to pry," Kevin's wife, Karina said. "But have you two set a date?"

"Not yet," Shaniece said.

"This is the first time we've seen each other in a week," Brock said. "And the times we've talked, we haven't been on the topic of our wedding. Just what has been going on that particular day or what is going to happen."

"I was just curious," Karina said.

"It's okay, Karina. I know you want to know. Everyone else does as well. Mainly our parents." Brock chuckled.

Shaniece nodded her head with a smile. "Yes, they do." She said.

"Just brush that off with your parents," Kevin said. "You two will figure out when and where."

"Thank you," Shaniece said.

"But I want to be the best man." John joked.

"Hey, no. Let me be the best man." Dwayne said.

"I want to be a bride's maid. Particularly the maid of honor." Renee said.

"No, me," Nattie said.

"If anyone is going to be the maid of honor, it's going to be me!" Mercedes said.

Everyone laughed.

"In all honesty," Shaniece teased. "I would have Miss Charlotte as my maid of honor."

"What?!" Mercedes said.

"I'm just kidding, Mer. I already have a maid of honor, and I know for a fact she will beat me up if I give her position away." Shaniece said.

"Who?" Trinity asked.

"Nicole," Shaniece answered.

"Yup," Nicole said.

Shaniece smiled. She looked over at Brock. He smiled at her. He wrapped his arm around her and leaned forward to kiss her.

"You guys are so gross there are kids present," Jon said.

"Shut up," Renee said, hitting upside his head.

"Stop the abuse, woman," Jon said, causing everyone to laugh.

Brock and Shaniece walked around the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona; they saw Brie Bella and Bryan Danielson. Shaniece was so excited to see Brie.

"I didn't even think about you being here tonight," Shaniece said, hugging Brie.

"Well, Bryan and I do live in the area," Brie laughed. "And I had to come to see all my girls."

Shaniece smiled.

"Plus, Bryan wanted to see everyone as well, especially Shane," Brie said.

"Of course." Shaniece smiled.

Brie grinned. "I still love how Brock proposed to you." She said.

Shaniece smiled. When everyone was around the ring watching Brock propose to Shaniece, they recorded the proposal on their phones. Nicole had recorded the whole thing for Brie to see right after.

"Yes, it was delightful," Shaniece said. "Just as good as Bryan proposing on the anniversary of your first kiss."

"Yes, that was sweet too," Brie said.

"Okay, boys, we're about to have girl talk in the locker room, so see you guys later," Shaniece said, walking away with Brie.

"Pregnant women walk so slow," Bryan said as Brock, and he watches the two pregnant women walk away.

"There you two are," Nicole said.

"We're coming. I picked a date." I said.

"Really, what's the date?" Brie asked.

"April 24," I answered.

"2018," Nicole said.

"No, April 24, 2017," I said.

"What?!" They both yelled.
