Let The Competition Begin ( part one)

Luiza's POV

What should I wear for this audition today. Ahh here it is the perfect outfit. This was my lucky dance wear. It was a black and white striped jersey with comfy black shorts. I packed that in my purple dance bag along with my ballet shoes ,tap shoes,turning shoes,make up and accessories for my hair. I got dressed making sure everything was perfect and in place.

Ding! Dong! The doorbell rang. I knew who this was because she is the only one who rings the doorbell. That is my best friend Maria Delarosa. She is also going to be in the audition with me.
'Are you ready' I asked
'Of course I am' She replied with a smile.
'Well lets get going'

15 minutes later
Maria's POV
'We are here Luiza' I said while parking the car. We took our bags out of the car and went into the auditorium. OMG! This place is so big and there are so many people. I'm scared now so scared.

"Don't be scared Maria, You are one of the best dancers here, You have nothing to worry about trust me"Luiza said.
Now let's go find our dressing rooms, and get ready to dance.

5 minutes later
Luiza's POV

There we are dressing rooms 18 and 19. We both went in. I choose room 18 because its one of my lucky numbers. I changed into my dance clothes and pulled my hair into a ponytail and added a pink bow for a pop of colour. I came outside and started stretching and working on my transitions to make it look perfect. Maria walked out of her dressing room wearing a light blue top and a long white leggings. Her hair was braided into a bun.

All dancers please make your way to the stage.

Maria and I quickly walked to the stage. We took our places to the middle of the stage.

Dancers for the first round of competition is spins. You could to any type of spins: pirouettes, sail turns, pencil turns ect. Rule is you can't switch feet or your two feet cant touch the ground. The top 40 dancers will move on to the second round.

Maria's POV
Luiza and I are gonna crush this. Spins are our thing. We could spin for days.
5.....4......3....2.....1....! Start spinning.
We started turning,us both stated with sail turns moving to pirouettes then pencil spins. One by one dancers started dropping. There were 45 of us left and Luiza and I were still going strong. 20 minutes past and 41 dancers are still spinning. Just one more come on we could do this. 5 minutes after.
All dancers stop turning. We have our top 40 dancers. Go down to the lounge and get some refreshments. You gonna need you energy for the next round.

Luiza's POV
Maria we made it two the second round. I wonder what its gonna be. We did our best friends hand shake and went to our dressing rooms to fix our hair. My hair was now curled and pulled into a bun with a black bow and Maria I don't what she did to her hair but as always I have to fix it. I braided it into two plats and added two small blue bows at the end of each. That looks way better.

The top 40 dancers please make your way back to the stage. Congratulations on making it to the second round, but after this 20 of you will be left. This round is improve. You will have to adapt to different music changes. Rules is you have to change your dance style to go with the music.
