Let The Competition Begin ( Part Two)

Last time:
The top 40 dancers please make your way to the stage.
Congratulations on making it to the second round, but after this 20 of you will be left. This round is improv. You will have to adapt to different music changes. Rules is you have to change your dance style to go with the music.

Maria's POV
Improv! Really ugh. I hate improv its just so unprofessional, and of course Luiza is happy because she is good at everything. They just had to do improv. That's just great. I walked to the back of the stage upset as ever. Luiza came over to me.
"What's wrong"
" Luiza , its improv, what am i gonna do?"
"Just dance, listen to the beat of the music, the only challenging part is adapting to music changes quickly, come on you could do this stop being negative"
"You are right Luiza let's do this"

Dancers GOOD LUCK 5....4....3....2...1.. Start dancing.

Luiza's POV
The music began. It was jazz. This is gonna easy. Music change, it was now hip hop. Maybe its not gonna be so easy. Music change again, it was now lyrical. People started dropping out in a blink of an eye.
"25 people left" the judge called out.
Music change, it was now jazz funk. I looked over to my left to see Maria keeping up pretty well.
35 minutes past.
Dancers stop improving. We have our top 20 dancers. Look at them carefully because for the next round is duets. You have to make a one minute dance of any style showcasing you best moves, tricks ect.

Maria's POV
Omg we made it to the third round, but its duets. If I don't get Luiza what am I gonna do. Working with strangers is a big no especially in dance.
Dancers your duet pairings are downstairs.

Yessss!!! I got Luiza. I am so happy. Our dance is gonna be spot on.

You have one hour to make up your routine.
Luiza' s POV

Yes! I got Maria. I am so happy, our dance is gonna be on point but umm one hour, we have to work quickly.
The song we choose for our dance is : You Know You Wanna- from the next step. Its a kind a sassy jazz and hip hop.
One hour is up. Dancers please make your way backstage.

Maria and I were the last dancers to perform in the duets.

Number 10 please make your way to the stage.

We are number 10. This is our time to shine. The music started, time to dance. We danced to perfection. One minute passed and finally the dance was over. The judges game us our score. It was 97 out of 100. This was the highest score of the night. We are moving on to the fourth and final round. The finale.

This is where we have a live show. We learn one group dance and our solos. The top 5 dancers get dance scholarships and the other 5 get hampers. In two days its the finale and we have lots of work to do.
