Chapter 6

Brooke's P.o.V.




He turned around and looked more handsome than before. I don't know if it was just because I hadn't seen him for a while but I knew something was different about him.




"Yeah?" He said as he turned around. He had a little goatee and it was becoming of him. He had his ears pierced and a fresh hair cut.




"Remember me?"




"Sir, here's your food." Said the cashier as she tried to hand it to him. He had his eyes glued on me as she tried to hand him his food. the constant tapping of her hand on his arm and the yelling wasn't enough to get his attention. He continued to stare in disbelief at me until he saw me about to speak. His finger came over my mouth as if he wanted me to stay quiet. I know I had a confused look on my face because I felt it twisted into an unfamiliar shape. As his eyes caught mine he looked a little hurt. The look wiped off of his face as fast as it had come in the first place. He gave me a very intimate hug and whispered I love you in my ear. I didn't know how to react. I just stood there. The same expression he had on his face was now on mine.
