Jenny's POV
"Jenny when will you stop being like this?" Jacky asked me as I stared into the waves.
"Until I'll reunite with my Kris," I answer still in my deepest thoughts.
"But Jenny you have to accept that he's gone," Kanon said. It makes me mad when people say that Kris is GONE from this world. He's not okay! He's still here!
"Leave me alone," I answer coldly staring at the waves.
"But-"
"Leave me alone," I repeated cutting Audrey with her words.
"Guys just go," Linda says while pulling the rest of them. Kris is still here. I believe so. He's still here. 'He must be in China. No his flight number must not be ZQ143 no it's not' I thought to myself as tears roll down my cheeks. I just can't accept the truth.
*Flashback*
I was sitting on my couch leaning on Kris as he play with my hair and twirling it around his fingers.
"Ah! Kris don't do that," I complained when he accidentally pulled my hair.
"Ah sorry darling," he said as he stroked my hair.
"Are you cold?" he asked me. I look up to him and nodded briefly. He pulled me even closer to him, closing any gap between us. "You shall be warm now my princess!" he said making me smile.
"It's too hot now..." I complained jokingly to him.
"Oh I see, you want to get away from me..." he said and pouted.
"Of course not, I'm just asking you to turn off the heater so we wont get hot," I answered with my innocent face.
"Well even though we turn off the heater I believe that we will still get too hot," he explained and smiled sweetly.
"Eh? Why is that?" I asked confusedly as he switch off the heater.
"Because I'm too hot..." he answered and wiggled his eyebrows.
"Cocky much!!" I hit his chest playfully as he pretended to get hurt.
"But you still love me right?" he said and laughed.
"Who said I love you?" I asked and raised an eyebrow.
"I said!" he answered.
"Eh? Wh-" he landed his lips onto mine softly and gave me a short yet sweet kiss. He then slowly pulled away.
"Still complaining?" he asked and I shook my head.
"Good!" he said and before I know it out lips are connected again. His phone rings indicating a call and he hesitantly pulled away.
"Ah! I hate this kind of calls. Always interrupt us," he grunted.
"Go and take the call," I said and smiled.
"I'll be right back!" he said and walked outside to answer the call. As much as I want his lips on mine, I have to let him pick up his phone. What if it's an important call?
"Ah honey! I have to fly to China first thing tomorrow morning. My grandma is terribly sick and she needs me. I'm so sorry!" he apologized once he's back.
"It's okay, you'll be back right?" I asked him. Outside I may seem fine but inside I jut have a bad feeling about this.
"Of course I will," he said and picked up his bag.
"Ya! Remember don't flirt with anyone there okay!" I said to him trying to lighten up the mood.
"Of course I won't! I love you and only you forever!" he said and kissed my forehead. Forever...
"Better be!" I said and hugged him really tight as if this is our last hug ever.
"I wish I can just stay next to you and wake up to your angel face every morning," he sighed and placed his forehead against mine while his right hand is caressing my cheek and our left hands are intertwined.
"I wish I can be with you every single day," I sigh. Our breaths were mixing together.
"One day, I will make you mine and grant all your wishes..." he said and kissed the tip of my nose.
"Promise?" I asked him and hold out my pinky. He wraps his pinky around mine.
"I promise," he said and off he goes. Giving me one last sweet kiss. And without me knowing it, that was our last time together.
*Present time*
I started sobbing when I remembered everything. Kanon was right. My friends was right. I can't stay like this forever. Kris is not here anymore. His flight number is ZQ143. I have to get over this.
"Kris, I thought you're going to grant my wish. Remember that day. Our last day together? You know pinky promises means a lot to me right? How could you just go and leave me alone? Last time you said that you will be next to me and loving me until I die. But why did you have to go first? You broke your promise to me Wu YiFan," I said while looking up to the sky.
"The reason I live was because of you. The reason I wake up every morning is because of you. Now that you're gone, I don't see why I have to live for one more day..." I whispered with tears falling rapidly on my cheeks as the worst part of the flashback played.
*Flashback*
I was sitting down on my bed praying for Kris' safety. Honestly I feel like running to the airport and beg him to not to go. I picked up my phone and dialed Kris' number. After a few rings I hear his familiar husky voice. It sent shivers down my spine every time I hear his voice.
"Yes baby?" he asked me.
"Kris, please don't go, please please don't go!" I begged with all my heart.
"Honey what's wrong? I'm departing soon. I will be back soon," he said with worry in his voice.
"No, no please stay. Stay with me Kris, please I beg you!" I said with tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Jenny, Jenny darling... Please don't cry... I have to go, I will be back soon. Tell me whats wrong?" he asked me with concern.
"You can't go! Please Kris! I have a really bad feeling," I explained while sobbing.
"No, listen to me honey... Everything will be fine okay... Just wait for me there and I'll be back soon okay!" he said as I continue sobbing.
"No! Don't leave!!" I shouted not caring how loud I am right now.
"I have to go now, I'll be back soon Jenny. And when I'm back I'll never leave you again, I'll make you mine. I love you!" he said.
"I-I love you too!" I whispered softly as he ended the call. I sit down on my bed listening to music trying to calm myself down while watching TV at the same time. And suddenly something caught me. The tv... News...
"The flight ZQ143 crashed due to bad weather and unfit pilot," the News reporter said. I picked up my phone and called Jacky.
"Jenny what on earth are y-"
"Jacky! Jacky! Kris!!" that was all I managed to say and then I break in tears and hung up the call. Not long after everyone is in my house looking at me crying my heart out.
*Present Time*
"I love you Kris and I will continue loving you until I die," I said and cried once more.
"Jenny baby, please stop crying..." a voice whispered to me making me look up. That husky voice. That familiar face. Kris... He's here. Am I hallucinating again?
"Kris?" I asked confusedly as I wipe the tears away from my eyes.
"I'm here," he said and smiled the sweetest smile. I miss that smile.
"You're alive...?" I asked confusedly.
"Jenny honey listen to me. You have to live your life to the fullest okay. Always think positive and find a guy better than me. A guy like Oh Sehun. I know he started loving you since he first met you, try to love him back because in that way you can forget me and move on with your life. I love you and I always will Jenny. I will wait for you but now Sehun is the only way for me to protect you every time," he explained leaving me dumbfounded. Oh Sehun? Sehun?
"But I only love you, I can't forget you like that!" I said and tears came rolling down again.
"I know, don't forget me. But love Sehun as much as you love me," he said and caressed my cheek.
"But-"
"I want to see you smile again after all these time Jenny, you deserve happiness after all these years," he said.
"I have to go..." he said and crashed his lips to mine.
"I love you," he whispered and then he's gone.
"I love you and I always will..." I said as I smile softly and walk away. I will listen to you Kris, but I can never replace you with Sehun. I can never love Sehun as much as I love you.
You're my one and only love.
