Jaehyun-ah! Why are you giving me such a hard task?? I sighed as I looked at the series of snapback hats in front of me. All of them looked the same, I swear! After looking around for a while, I decided to call Jaehyun and ask her more specifically for the kind that she wanted. On the fourth ring, she answered.
“Jaehyun, what kind of hat do you want?” I asked.
“Anything that would suit me,” she replied vaguely.
“Ya! You’re not helping!” I exclaimed before tsking.
“Oh! I need to go, but seriously, anything that will suit me,” she said before hanging up.
“Aish!”
I put my phone away and looked at the snapbacks. Will these hats suit her?
“The thing that will suit her... what is it?” I muttered under my breath.
“Are you buying a hat for your friend?” a guy asked me out of the blue.
Did he hear me?
“Uh, yeah,” I replied, nodding my head before paying attention back to the hats.
“Does she like snapbacks?” he asked.
“That’s the thing, I don’t know,” I said, shrugging my shoulders, “all she said was something that will suit her,”
“Oh... that’s very... vague...” he muttered, “I can help you if you want,”
“Thanks, but I don’t want to interfere with whatever you were doing,”
“Not at all, I’m Baekhyun,” he introduced himself.
“I’m Hyunrim,” I replied, shaking his head.
Okay... this is peculiar. He came out of nowhere and offered to help me. Isn’t he being a bit too nice to a stranger?
“Do you think this will suit her?” he asked while showing a black and grey snapback.
“I don’t know... but she really suit pink or green,” I replied.
He nodded his head and looked around. After a while, he looked at his watch, and excused himself as he had to go.
“Hope to see you around,” he said, smiling, “and if you can’t find anything here, there’s another really good hat shop just around the corner, in front of the shoe shop, my friend works there,”
“Thanks, it’s nice meeting you, Baekhyun,” I said, bowing a little.
“You too, bye,” he bid his goodbye and walked out.
Aish, he’s cute! Seriously Hyunrim, he’s a stranger, beside, you won’t see him again. I warned myself. After giving up with the shop I am at, I decided to go to the hat shop Baekhyun suggested.
“Annyeonghaseyo, I am Luhan, how may I help you?” the worker there greeted as soon as he saw me.
“Annyeonghaseyo, yes, I need help...” I said to him, explaining my situation.
