"Oh sorry" you say and put your luggage and take a sit next to a man. You look out the window and smile to yourself, the pretty scene in the sky is breath taking. You know you didn't regret going to Korea for once. You wish that the aeroplane would land quickly. Feeling excited, you try to think what you should do. You try to sleep but it didn't work.
You pout and try to call the flight attendant.
"Yes ma'am may I help you?" she asks politely
"Can I please have a glass of water?" you ask in English
"Certainly" she smile and walk away to get the glass of water
You patiently wait for her and read the magazine.
"Ah-uh" beside you a man suddenly whine in his sleep, since you didn't want to be a mean woman and tell him off, You decide to let it go. However, he keep on whining. Your lips then twitch because of annoyance.
"E-e-excuse me" you say shooking his shoulder lightly, he didn't respond and still sleep like a log. So you try again and he finally open his brown hazel eyes.
"Ah ..." he look at you as you seems mesmerize of his face
He was no doubt handsome.
"Ah sorry sir it's just that you are whining in your sleep...." You say in English but didn't know what else to say
"I-I-I-s that so. I am very sorry" he says politely in English and when he speak it feels like a voice from heaven calling you.
"Oh is alright m-m-my name is (Y/N)" you didn't know what you are doing. It feels like you want to talk to him more, not because of his face. Because you are bored.
"Hello (Y/N) I am Nichkhun" he shook your hand and there was no doubt you felt an electricity when you shake hands. .
"I think I heard that name before... somewhere.... Where did I hear it?" You mutter under your breath
"Here's your drink ma'am" the flight attendant finally come disrupting you from your thought.
"Thank you" you mutter smiling politely. When she was gone your attention was now fully to him.
"Do you come here alone?" Nichkhun asks you
"Ah ne" you say feeling awkward
"So why are you going to Korea?" he asks getting interested
"I am here to start a new career and starting my new job" you say
"So what's your new job?" when his eyes meet yours, you forgot what you are going to say and kept on looking at his eyes.
"He...llo?" he says waving his hand in front of your face
"Ah sorry I was a bit .... Anyway! What did you say?" you shook your head and feel your cheek is getting pink
"I say what's your new job?" he chuckles
"Oh I am a physiotherapist" you answer
"Ah nice" he say
"What about you?" now it's my turn to ask him
"I am-" as he about to say it an announcement come up
"We will be landing in 5 minutes in Incheon international airport, please fasten your seatbelt"
"We are finally arriving" he changes the subject and took out a mouth mask from his pocket....what for? Is he sick?
10 minutes later...
You get your luggage and wait for your uncle at the airport. When Nichkhun and you get out from the aeroplane he suddenly disappear. You wonder does he hate you, just quickly disappearing without a trace.
Aish why did you care! It's not like you are friends or anything.
"Uncle palli! Come you pabo" you mutter looking at your watch he is obviously late, more like 15 minutes late.
Your leg is getting weary for standing up and your hand who's getting weaker each second because of holding your luggage.
"(Y/N)-ah!" you heard a voice not your uncle but a voice that feels like heaven calling you
"Ah Nichkhun-sshi" you say as he hold his luggage
"Are you waiting for someone?" he ask
"Ah ne...." you say
"(Y/N) I am sorry that I left so suddenly" he finally say
"Ah anio is fine. Beside we are strangers" you say and he look taken aback of what you say, you mean aren't we strangers? Maybe it was a bit harsh. Just maybe....
"Sorry I didn't mean it to come like that" you say feeling a shame of yourselff, you shouldn't be that mean to Nichkhun.
"It's fine but (Y/N) can I ask you something?" he says while smiling shyly
"Ah ne Nichkhun-sshi" you answer
"A-a-are you free tonight?"
